The best restaurant in Johnstown. The food is excellent and of the highest quality. The chef is a CIA graduate and it is apparent in their creative daily specials as well as their classic favorites. Corn fritters or homemade sorbet is served to everyone. The staff is excellent. This could be considered fine dining with all the amenities you’d expect from a top tier establishment. Very historic Inn that should be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We go out of our way to dine here and always, always have a super experience.

This is an ok place with nice staff. Worth a visit if you’re in town since there aren’t too many other options. Stick with the basics because that’s what they do best.

I’m there every week with a large group that takes over the bar area(on the right as you walk in). We’re provided with some appetizers and a wine special. I imagine you could get the same deal if you bring in a dozen people for a few hours on a regular basis. There’s a party room in the back if you want a private event rather than a bar-centered event. There’s a parking lot as well as street parking. Be careful how you park your car on a potentially busy night because it might be difficult to pull out after far too many people decide to park around you. You might also wish to make a reservation on those nights(or any night). Some nights it’s wide open for walk-ins and some nights it’s packed. I haven’t quite figured out a reliable pattern for that. The well drinks are strong and reasonably priced. The burgers are the best I’ve had around and also reasonably priced. The dinner specials range between ok and great. The service is very good, especially after you get to know the staff(your drink will be waiting for you by the time you walk over to the bar).

Skip the commercial street restaurants; drive a few short blocks over and dine historically. Great.

best restaurant in the area, hands down… and if you order from the smaller portion menu, you get enough food at a very reasonable price
