Had a terrible experience at radio shack today. worked with a very unfriendly unexperienced woman by the name of Rene. I had purchased a samsung galaxy S4 exactly a month ago today. The salesman I purchased the item off of was very friendly and knew a lot about the products. After having the item for a while I ran into some bumps with sprint after getting them figured out the phone still had an issue. After doing some research it was the phone not the carrier. I went to return the phone which had been accidentally damaged. Rene looked at my contract for two seconds and immediately pushed it away saying nope out of the 30 day guarantee return policy. Which it wasn’t. Once we overcame the difference of what 30 days looked like on a calendar she told me that we would not be able return it with the fixed screen offering no suggestions or help. She immediately raised her voice as she needed to express that she understood the situation fully which she didn’t. It was 7:30 and she wanted to go home I get that work’s hard sometimes. I did not need to be talked down to. I had to point out the parts of the receipts and contract that I had signed talking about the 30 day return guarantee. Unfortunately for me printed documents do not hold up in the court of radioshack employees at 7:30 on a monday. I may have been prone to just let it go with some respect and understanding of being stuck in a 2 year contract with an $ 699 phone that didn’t work properly. We also have a family plan and she said even if I were to return this I’d need stated persons on the contract to be here to redact it. Why wouldn’t I need them there to sign a 2 year contract in their name? You will see my reviews everywhere.
