Although the staff was nice and friendly, there were a couple issues about overall management and facilities that were of concern during our visit. We called no less than three times to have our air conditioner adjusted and the first time after returning from dinner, we found our room hotter inside than the hallway. The second time we called we heard the compressor kick in 45 minutes after our call. This was after being told the system would reset in 10 minutes. The third time we called the system reset itself to automatic and never reached a comfortable level of cooling. There was a fire alarm at 1AM during our stay and thank God there was no real emergency. The apparent cause of the alarm was dirty vents around the smoke alarm(and more than one dirty vent). What does that say about the overall facility maintenance of the property?

I came back and stayed here for a couple weeks and it’s still a great hotel with a super nice staff, the people at the front desk are great, but the pretty girl who smiled at me back in december doesn’t seem to work there anymore, bummer. they also don’t get SNY so I can’t watch any Mets games, but other than that this place is great, the breakfast is nice and the rooms are clean, the wi-fi works good, and it’s a good location. It’s cheaper and better than the Holiday Inn up the road. I still definitely stand by my previous review.

We stayed there 12/25/13.Sleep was difficult due to noises, probably from the staff using washing machines, late at night. Other people have complained about noise on the first floor, where we were. I would not stay there again. There is no reason for staff to be creating noise where people are trying to sleep.

This is very conveniently located on the main strip through town(and really, what hotel isn’t) and is easy to get to from I-90. It is nearby to many eating, grocery, and shopping options, which is appreciated if you are in town for a few days. We used this hotel as our base of operations for a couple nights while we spent out days in Saratoga. Management and staff were extremely friendly and offered up all of the various amenities the hotel offered(breakfast in the morning — including a waffle maker — score!, a small workout room, a business station, and ice/vending machines). Our room was small but had a flat screen, nice bathroom, and was very clean. Others have complained about the odor, but I noticed none. The hallway smelled a bit strange, but what hotel doesn’t? If you are looking for a cheap place to stay to get up into the Adirondacks or Saratoga, this place is great. I’d say it’s about a 30 minute ride into Saratoga depending on traffic.

Horrible customer service! If you are not a smoker the hallways smell like smoke, luckily the room I was staying in did not smell like smoke! I stayed in a room with a single queen bed and it was entirely too small. There was hardly any room to have suitcases and to also be able to move around the room. Lastly, beware of their horrible pet policy. If you are looking for a pet friendly hotel, this is not the place to stay, even though they say they are pet friendly. I’ll give it one star for being one of the few hotels near where I needed to stay for a wedding!
