My buddy and I stopped here on our way back from a LONG gig and were starving. We had plans to eat elsewhere but driving by I told him how much I enjoyed this place and wanted him to try it. Well, we will never be going back. We were sat after a wait(which was OK, they were fairly busy at the time). I ordered water and my bud ordered coffee. An hour later(we timed it) I got a water refill, but no coffee refill. We watched others around us be seated after us and receive their food. We never got a «the food will be right out» or «the kitchen is a little behind, we’ll be with you soon». I used to work in food service, that’s all I needed in order to be satisfied. Instead the 3rd table who had been seated after us received their food so I mentioned that to her. No apology, just«I’ll go get the manger». The manager never came by, instead she brought us the check and said we got a 20% discount. Whoop-de-doo. Finally our food came and it was luke-warm/cold, 1 hour and 23 minutes after we sat down. Neither of us had the guts to walk out but I wish we would have. The waitress claimed they were exceptionally(my word, not hers) busy, though I noticed several times the wait staff chatting near the soda dispensers. Overall I was extremely upset with the service and the fact that the manager didn’t even come by the table tells me they don’t care about improving their service. They’re always swamped, my not going back won’t hurt their business at all, but I’m happy to give it to someone who will take care of their customers. I do not give second chances to restaurants, so if you want treated well just drive north a few more miles and eat in Loveland. They may not have the«World’s Best Cinnamon Rolls», but I promise they won’t have«The World’s Worst Customer Service»

this is the second time we have had to eat here as truck drivers. colorado is not trucker friendly, its a oh yeah bring the things we need and eat, take our beer all over the country but get the hell out!!! this is why we ended up eating here, big mistake. this was our valentines dinner out so we had our hearts set on some good food, it was the worst cod and catfish we have ever had. i got the cod, fries and green beans. hell could have gone to a grocery store and had better buying gortons. green beans out of a can and over boiled with way too much bacon that has got to be 95% fat. my husband had the catfish … yuck and double yuck. the hush puppies were the best thing. our waitress was a total bitch to me but drooled over my husband and the other men around us. i just wanted water, ice and lemon. so she brings me a glass of water with maybe 3 ice cubes and no lemon… i asked again so she gets two wedges with the tongs walks over and tosses them in to luke warm water. she came back with our food dropped green beans on table, picked them up with her hand and put them back in the dish… discusting what a fat pig. she made sure to fly back by and ask my husband if all ok and what he was drinking and never asked me. $ 29.00 plus only 1 for her tip from my husband. advice tip, don’t flirt with my husband and treat me like shit. if you had just been halfway nice to me you would have had a 30% tip.(my daughter is in food service… she would have made a manager take care of this and gotten free food) not me i just will never eat there ever again and you got this review! also tip to waitress bad black hair dye job and hun don’t wear that tight of jeans just makes muffin top worse

Only for the«world famous cinnamon rolls» not good at all cinna-bun is better especially for the claim. FYI it’s in the truck stop. I have never had the diner food but will some day.. I am hopeful it will be good cause I live in the same town so that would be nice to have a little dive for breakfast.

I have passed by this place numerous times when traveling I-25 and each time I’ve made a mental note to stop on the next trip. Finally, the opportunity came last Saturday. They serve typical diner fare; basic and filling. But first you have to get by the pastry case. It is filled with cream pies, fruit pies, mini pies, cupcakes, regular cakes, muffins, cookies… and those large old-fashioned cinnamon rolls that are advertised on billboards on both sides of the highway. Service is friendly and attentive. Stop in if only for the experience. And don’t forget the cinnamon roll for tomorrow’s breakfast.

Johnson’s corner is really hit or miss. Some of the things on their menu are good and some are just downright awful. Same with their cinnamon rolls. I have had their breakfast food, Eggs, hash browns, Bacon, Pancakes etc and all were decent. I had one of their sandwiches and it was not so good. Bread was stale and meat was dry. I also had their NASTY chicken pot pie. Super duper salty and uses some strange brown gravy that tastes like it’s from a mix. I have also had very very dry cinnamon rolls which are supposed to be famous. I have had a few that were really good… Raspberry cream cheese I think? But most of the time they are really dry and have to be soaked in butter to be any good. Overall there are much better places to eat in town and really not much of any reason to go out here anymore other than maybe for the nostalgia factor.

Even though my overall rating is a 3-star, based on this visit my service was 5-star. Jill, our server, was fantastic. Friendly, prompt, got our order with changes exactly right, and she kept my coffee mug filled. :-) It’s been well over a year since I’ve last been here and they’ve changed ownership since then. My daughter ordered one of the cinnamon rolls and like others noted, it was a bit dry. She still enjoyed it though, and says if she wants a cinnamon roll, she likes Johnson’s Corner best. I had a bite and it was just OK for me. We also split a Denver Omelet. It was good. I can’t give this joint more than 3-stars because there are so many other places in Fort Collins that I’d prefer to go to breakfast over Johnson’s Corner. But for a truck stop diner, you’ll get a solidly decent breakfast and a clean rest stop.

So as much as I wanna like this place, they try extra hard 2 fukk it up… It’s part of Petro, they run tha station n convenience store, im just not sure about tha restaurant… If u r «famous» as u advertise, then live up 2 it… How can I have a bakery, yet kill a famous cinnamon roll by mikrowaving it? Im so sure… But wait, the waitress tells another waitress who decides a cold hockey puck roll with cold topping is GR8, me thinks not… Now if I kno me, I’m not a googoo 4 sweets person, and this is a huge treat that they insisted in ruining… Long story short, after much ado, they took it and put it in an oven, I mean, u have those, right? Ura bakery, right? And u have tha manager bring it out, big whoop! It waz not all that after all …

It’s fall and sweater wearing weather. Good thing when you eat here because everything is Kinda fattening. It’s fun to come Once. The food is ok but not anything I couldn’t live without eating again. I had fried chicken. Mashed potatoes and fairly good cole slaw Took home one of their famous cinnamon rolls but tried it a few Days days later and it was disappointing. I am sure it would have been better if I ate it when it was fresh They have a big cake size cinnamon roll for 15.00 dollars. If it’s good it would be great for a brunch party Well I can mark this off my list. Glad I was here but probably won’t be back

Overall, solid truck stop experience. Stopped for breakfast after traffic had come to a standstill on I-25. Portions are big and my food was cooked to order. service was very good and friendly. Quite a variety of food available and breakfast is available all day. I was there on a weekday(friday) and it was not too busy. Cinnamon rolls are LARGE. probably good to have an eating buddy for this.

CLEAN!!! No cobwebs, no dusty picture frames! The breakfast, a #1 with dippy eggs, toast, hashbrowns, and some of the finest bacon I’ve ever had, was served fast, exactly as ordered, and delicious. Hubs was completely happy. Finished everything on his plate! That never happens. Service was friendly, price was super reasonable, and the view of the Rockies was amazing.

I don’t grant anyone 5 stars unless everything is on point, this morning, it was! Seated as soon as we walked in, quickly had our drink request taken and brought to us. The chicken fried steak was awesome, crust was perfect, eggs were done just like I requested, hash browns & gravy had great flavor. The toast had a unique toasting to it, similar to the campfire bread toasters… excellent. The Carmel pecan cinnamon roll was to die for(which they are known for) and my wife’s omelette, side of biscuit & gravy she also loved. A great start to our Friday morning road trip!

So we finally tried the infamous Johnsons corner. The initial service started a little slow but it was eventually brought up to speed. Our meals included the chicken fried steak, hot wings, and a bacon cheeseburger. Every one enjoyed their meal. We are anticipating the cinnamon rolls that this place is know for. We are taking them to go. But overall it was a decent drive for a Sunday and nice was to start our day that includes the outlet stores in Loveland. Our ticket without the dessert was $ 45

On my way back from Whyoming I had to stop in for a Cinnamon roll and to use the potty. Cinnamon rolls are delish and one can be split between two people. The Restroom was clean.

I had heard good things about this place so I stopped to give it a try. Wow was I disappointed. They are known for their cinnamin rolls so we tried one. It was kinda stale and hard around the edges. The service was slow. The food was cold. Literally everything on my plate was cold. The hashbrowns were barely cooked at all. The coffee was also sub par. A diner should at least have decent coffee. Not only did this place suck it was also expensive for breakfast. The sweet picture of Kenny Rodgers by the shitter earns this place its one star.
