Find this little gem by accidentgreat place. Didn’t try the food butt the coffee was supreme

This may be a bit hard to find, but when you go back again and again it is easier to find.
This is really a hidden treasure that unfortunately most folks may not appreciate. The coffee is undoubtedly the best in the area with the beans roasted fresh on site (definitely unique to the area). Hill of Beans would hold its own in a big city based on just its choice and quality of coffee beans. If you factor in the outstanding sandwiches, they would be one of the best in any big city.
The coffee is quite good, they have any imaginable flavor syrup you could want, if you wanted flavored coffee and the flavored iced tea is even better. The standard specialty drinks are also available (cappuccino, latte, etc.) which may be the only place to get a real non-​CharBucks specialty drink in the area.
The biggest surprise was the lunch sandwiches. They are inexpensive and are outstanding. I tried the Italian sandwich with olive tapenade, I still cannot stop thinking about the tapenade spread! I also tried the kitchen sink (on my second visit, the sandwiches are sizable), which has bits from the other 4 sandwiches combined in one. I did not like the kitchen sink sandwich as much, too many things going on… but I also couldn’t stop thinking about the Italian sandwich.
If you are in the area, try a coffee or tea; if it is around lunch time you have got to try a sandwich.
