Providence Pointe Apartments

This was, by far, the best apartment I’ve ever rented. The office staff was informative and open. Maintenance was swift and effective. The location is just minutes away from I-​35 /​I-​80, Target, Walmart, a veterinarian (within easy walking distance), and other shopping centers. Des Moines isn’t a big city, but it does account for most of the traffic in Central Iowa, yet that traffic is only barely felt in this location.
My only criticisms are these. The office staff can sometimes be somewhat discourteous. I’ve engaged them on a few occasions, and they made me feel like a bother. The maintenance guy let my puppy out of her crate to pet her, which I sort of appreciate but prefer that he not do that, since I was crate-​training her and trying to avoid reinforcing her crying. Another thing is that people often let their animal companions defecate and don’t clean it up, which doesn’t bother me much until it’s literally right outside my porch.
In general, a fantastic place to live. Certainly among the best in the area.
