The price is right, there is a huge selection, there is service with a smile, and it is very old timey’. They do not have many places like these throughout the country anymore, so when I visit family in this part of Rhode Island we stop by for a dip or something special like that. The line does indeed get long in the summer, but there is nothing like an ice cream cone on a hot summers day. We sit at one of the benches or we relax in the car with the windows down. Life’s simple pleasures.
And yes, the sign is actually labelled Dairy Crème in case of confusion.

Dairy Cream (or Crème — according to their sign) is a solid choice for some good ice-​cream. This place gets pretty packed during the summer but the line is quick and the people who work here are always friendly and good looking. The selection is impressive too– traditional and diverse flavors of ice cream, soft serve, frozen yogurt… and they even have different types of sundaes, toppings, chocolate dipping and much more. The prices are pretty reasonable as well.
