I love this place! I go frequently and meet friends for coffee. I also meet a friend here for a book study. Their food is amazing and drinks are outstanding– they have a chai menu that’s so incredible.

I need to spend more time here to give a proper review and maybe even 5 stars and I think it is a gem in downtown Johnson City. The place is surprisingly large — I was amazed at how much space there is and a really cool area to just hang with some coffee and a laptop or book. The specials are well thought out and prepared the one time I was here I had the soup of the day and home made chicken salad sandwich — both quite good. The service was attentive and very pleasant. The whole place has a vibe of a place you would see in Asheville, Portland or San Francisco right here in Johnson City. I really look forward to seeing some live music here and adding more to the review as this time was more of a drive by but a very pleasant one.

Quite simply one of the best and most comfortable places you’re going to find anywhere. They also have a great staff who treats everyone as if they’re the most important customer they have. While I’ve only been there to listen to their remarkable(especially for the area) live music, I know this would simply be a great place to spend some relaxing time on a lazy afternoon or evening. I’m a reasonably well traveled guy, and this is a 5 star spot in any market, anywhere…

Love this little nook that is larger than it appears. I stopped in for a cold drink and ended up staying a while. They are cute, friendly, eclectic and welcoming. Everything you need to create a business in a small town. If I lived here then I would come frequently! I ended up with a caramel frappuccino and it was lovely and sweet. Just what I needed. While sipping my drink I watched the owner/employees greeting people by name and saw lots of walk-ins. The piped in music was relaxing. Great place to spend a while.

Great coffee shop in downtown Johnson City! Unfortunately we only had a chai latte which was still incredible, but I can’t comment on the quality of the coffee. The best part though was the friendly staff! They make you feel so incredibly welcome and are happy to provide absolutely anything for you. They treat you not just like family but more like royalty! The seating area is huge with a nice mix of comfortable lounging chairs and tables and chairs. It’s huge so finding a place is super easy.

Dope spot. They serve ice coffee in a mason jar. Very Appalachian. Good spot for a quiet afternoon, if you feel like writing.

Came here with a friend for«First Friday» and we stopped in here in the evening. Pretty cool little place with an overall easy-going«vibe» which lends itself to be a good place to just hang out and enjoy time with friends all the while enjoying some coffee, both Draft and Bottle beers, and various other drinks. I do like how they have Board Games to play and big enough tables to play said games. I would have no problems bringing my kids here perhaps when a band isn’t playing in the other room. I will give this establishment a C+ for the fact that it is staffed with pretty caring individuals and has plenty to do to relax or entertain others while there.

I’m in love with this place. They have wonderful coffee drinks. If I eat anymore of Zoe’s famous cookies I’ll need to invest in a gym membership. The environment is stellar and accepting. My 5 year old niece loves the place too. Far better than most coffee places around town.

This is a very nice café — soaring high ceilings, plenty of open tables, natural light flooding through the front windows, adequate wifi, really friendly staff. Over the past fifteen years I’ve spent a lot of time in great indie cafes in NYC, Chicago, Madrid, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and this one fits right in. I didn’t try the food, which currently seems to be limited to bagels, muffins and sandwiches, but the coffee was very good and inexpensive. I am only in JC a few days to visit family, but if I’ve got to sneak out to work on my next trip this will be my first pick.

Another gem in Johnson City. It apparently just opened in January, which accounts for the relative emptiness on a Sunday afternoon … but still, it’s a gorgeous space and I would definitely spend a lot of time here if I lived here.(Check out the pictures: D) As Dan B. says, this would fit right in with Asheville. Service is friendly and great, the paintings and decorations are stunning, and there is live music every weekend. Wow. I hope it does well!
