Have been to this place a few times now, and it never disappoints. I’ve had both a burger and the turkey burger and they were great. They also have the best sweet potato fries with the best dipping sauce I’ve ever had. They give you a little board you can mark whatever you want with a dry erase marker so you can do a create your own type thing. It’s a little weird since it’s attached to a hotel, but I highly recommend the food

In town for business and staying at the hotel this is located in. Had a hankering for steak and it was storming pretty bad outside so I headed down to the burger bar and to my surprise they had one on the menu. Steak, parmesan fries where jammin good, whoopie pie not so much. Bartender was super nice. I would definitely eat here again.

Look — it’s a hotel bar. I had the DoubleTree Quesadilla with chicken which was awesome for $ 8. They have Woodford Reserve for $ 9 on ice which is great. If you are lucky you will get Julius as your waiter and he is awesome and provided superb service. If you are looking for something better leave the hotel. But if you are like me and want to just walk downstairs — it’s a great spot. Prices are right — 500 bonus points if you spend over $ 25 is also a pure bonus. Enjoy.

I read the reviews before I visited with my girlfriend. Heard service was terrible and my visit echoed those reviews. We were greeted by a pissed off bartender that was evidently upset that she had to work because it was lightly snowing outside. They ended up getting almost nothing that night in terms of snow.
Because we stayed at the hotel, it was convenient and decided to go back the next night and give them another try. Same bartender was in better spirits, however we ordered and ate the black-​eyed pea hummus and both my girlfriend and I had terrible stomach cramps around 5 – 6 hours later. Based on that and the previous nights experience, I doubt we will ever go back.
Very cool décor, but obvious that it is poorly managed. Shame.

Ordered a turkey burger to go. It had obviously been waiting for me in the freezer so to compensate for the temperature gap, they freaking took a half an hour to burn it for me. I like the concept of this place but the service was amateur at best and the burger I custom built into an awesome meal was crunchy on the outside, gooey in the middle, and surrounded by a host of beautiful supporting ingredients that were essentially left at the altar.

Awesome food! On the gourmet side with a gourmet price, but I think it’s worth it. I like that you can build your own burger and the turkey burger was great! it’s a little dead at lunch time, we were the only ones there but that’s ok with me!

We went for a burger before our movie at 9:10, we arrived one hour before. There was no one there to greet us and we waited at the host stand for five minutes before a waitress came to say «give me a second I’ve got to find a table.» The place wasn’t that busy and there were at least three waitresses on staff. We ordered one burger to split and two orders of fries. The service was the worst we have ever had. We asked the waitress multiple times to refill Cokes and our one burger took over an hour to get to the table. We missed our movie, the burger was okay. The sweet potato fries were good.

Great burger. Build your own with any fixing you want. This rating would have been much higher. But, service is important. I ordered a yuengling beer in the bottle. The waitress brings the beer out already poured in a glass. I ask: Why did you pour the beer in a glass? She says: well, the beer bottles were warm because we just put them in the cooler, so I poured it in the glass. Yikes!

This was possibly the best burger I have ever had. I basically got to customize my burger with my favorite things I put things that I have never had on a burger. It was cooked the way I like and well worth the money. The fried pickle chips were good and the staff was very attentive. I also liked the sports bar feel. I will be back the next time i come to Tennessee.

Excellent! Highly recommend for a good burger and AMAZING sweet potato fries.
We had great service at our table by Michelle. She was very personable and was very helpful with our dietary requests — even reviewing the ingredient list for sauces and reporting back to us very quickly.
My husband and I both had beef burgers with a ton of toppings. Lots to choose from.
You actually use a dry erase marker on the table to check off what you want on your burger on the menu. I liked that because I could see what toppings I was ordering and how they would go (or wouldn’t go) with the others.
The burgers are really big with all the toppings and one order of sweet potato fries was plenty for my husband and I to share.
I liked the atmosphere — nice upscale burger joint. Whatever you wear to Outback or the like would fit right in here. Did see a few business people dining alone in their business casual.
Overall, go — it’s wonderful! Yes, it’s in the Doubletree, but ignore that — its fabulous.
*We went on a Monday night around 630 and nearly had the place to ourselves. It started to pick up around the bar around 7:15 or so.

Really good, but pricey, burger and fries. Awesome toppings and bun choices. The sweet potato fries were amazing. Yeah — the décor is odd but don’t let it fool you. The food is worth putting up with the odd ambience.

The burgers are very good but the feel of the place is very weird. It looks like they opened a sushi bar and then decided to cook burgers. No music playing so you are on top of everyone’s conversation. TV’s at the bar were playing sitcoms. Food good, ambiance not so much.

Turkey burger with pineapple and avocado was really good. The service was really shaky. We ordered Edamame and asked if we could have it without garlic. Our server said no problem but it arrived covered in garlic. I asked for mayo on the side… but that didn’t come. So I am giving a 3 star average.

Don’t be afraid of the turkey burger! Better than the beef IMO!!!
Also make sure to check Groupon for $ 35 of food for $ 17.
We had two appetizers; the pickle chips and the edamame, and both were served as huge portions. They both were delicious.
I had a Swiss cheese turkey burger on the Potato Kaiser with bacon, black bean salsa, spinach, and tomato. It was phenomenal, literally one of the best burgers I have ever had.
She had a Swiss cheeseburger on a potato Kaiser with bacon and spinach. She could only eat half from all the fried pickles!
$ 17 for two big juicy burgers and two full size sides… Not bad at all.

On a biz trip and I find a gem! The burgers here are no joke. Look at the pictures! The pulled pork egg rolls = OMG! The Burger = WOW! Highly recommend this jewel in Johnson City! Don’t forget the sweet potato fries and a cold brew. When done you will roll right out and if your in town for biz … Roll right to your room!
