Alright guys, want the outdoors but still want to live like a New Yorker? Or want a place where you can bring the girlfriend? This is what I’d call gourmet camping. You’re in the woods, in an awesome area surrounded by a great stream being waited on hand and foot.
David was an awesome host the entire weekend, a friend and I drove up from NYC and were greeted with awesome local foods (sausages and cheese), produce, and a bottle of wine, we spent the night in a permanent tent structure that was pre-​stocked with plenty of firewood (this was back in Oct).
The host was an awesome chef, great to chat with, and was totally fine with giving us space when we needed. Additionally we packed a few food packs and went into the Caves of adirondacks.
We definitely plan on coming back.
