First time at this bar today and the bartender was extremely welcoming and made us feel comfortable like we’ve been here a hundred times. He made a delicious Bloody Mary and was friendly the entire time. Looking forward to our next visit!

Recent renovations (paint, TV, pool table, internet jukebox) and a friendly clientelle make the Oak Park Lounge a hard to reach but decent enough bar. Very reasonable prices. It isn’t the Ritz, but not a dive either.
This is mostly a boater’s bar — with a huge pier in front. Expect smaller crowd (if any) during the winter. Always a friendly atmosphere. It’s a neighborhood bar that’s been owned by the same person for 30+ years.
