Ask for Kevin. He doesn’t work there regularly so you will have to request him. I’ve been searching for years for a master healer – someone who can use pressure points to diagnose and successfully treat problems. I don’t even have to tell him what is wrong – he figures it out depending on what he feels there. Most masseurs in this area are mere technicians, not healers. This guy is the real deal. He’s been practicing for decades, and back in China, clients used to come from all over the city for his help, I’ve heard. Beware, though – this is real Chinese massage, so expect pressure points and deep work. if you are looking for Swedish massage, this is not the right fit for you. But if you are an afficionado of traditional chinese massage/Tui Na, then Kevin is the one to ask for.

Short: Pretty decent masseuses for a decent price for the area. Long: This spa is close to my place, which is a big pro because who wants to fight traffic after a relaxing massage, right? I’ve been coming here for awhile since it’s pretty easy to make appointments on short notice, and many of the masseuses know what they’re doing. Their deep tissue massage really is a DEEP massage. Sometimes, I need to breathe through the pain because they really work you out. You’ll feel so much lighter and won’t need a massage for another month or two. If you don’t like this(I know that’s not for everyone!), make sure to request a relaxing massage with less pressure. Most of these masseuses’ default pressure can be pretty strong. The relaxing massages are really good too. When this place first opened, the space was pretty nice. It’s starting to show some age in the linens and walls, but the bathroom is clean and very well stocked. Plus, this place doesn’t feel sketchy. Tip: They often have pretty good promotions(especially for foot massages) so stock up when these are available!

I went in yesterday b/c I had a migraine and cold… I begged my husband to take me b/c it’s right up the street from our house. Anyone that has migraines knows how debilitating it can be and I really just needed something soothing and relaxing. This was my first time there and a wonderful experience. As soon as I walked in it was dark, calm, and peaceful. I’ve been to other asian massage places on Buford Hwy and this by far was the nicest and cleanest. I purchased the 60 minute massage and 30 minute foot massage — $ 75! Julia was my masseuse – I actually had her the last time I went to H massage on Buford Hwy. I explained to her that I had a horrible migraine and asked her to focus on my head, neck, and shoulders. After 90 minutes I was healed and felt 1000x better. I absolutely love Julia, she’s amazing and her ability to heal with her hands is a God given gift! I would go again in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone. Paying over $ 100 for a massage is overrated and a ripoff.

Hour foot massage $ 27.00 Yah who doesn’t love a good foot massage, seeing the sign on my way into«getting a slice next door» decided on the way out to give it a go. Walking in I was left standing there while a conversation was going on in back between employees for several minutes and one of the girls was standing in the doorway eating her noodles. Hey did ya”ll not hear the bells on the door when walking in really confused about this ? After the ‘greet’ was lead around the screen to a small area two chairs with ottomans, a foot soak was started but nothing was said to me then ten minutes later the same person reappears. «Long story short the person’ giving the massage disappeared twice, was carrying on conversations with an employee that was out front during the session and one of the men upfront was playing a movie with machine guns firing in the background so much for relaxing. A foot massage should be a treat for oneself and felt like this person was just going through the motions. Would I return I’ll let you know.

If I could put negative stars, I would. This place is HORRIBLE. I went here once earlier this year with my boyfriend and asked for light pressure massage and I experienced the deepest tissue massage and I kept having to tell the masseuse to stop digging so hard into my body and reminding her of light pressure, but she continued to use the deepest pressure, especially digging her elbows into my kidneys; however my boyfriend loved his massage and wanted to return. So the other day I figured I would give this place another shot because I couldn’t imagine it being worse than the first experience. I was terribly wrong, the second time was incredibly WORSE!!! I asked for a Swedish massage once again, except this time my masseuse never asked what kind of pressure I wanted or any specific areas to work on, but she started right off with the hardest pressure. So after enduring the most painful massage on my back I hear, «tell me if hurts», and I feel someone on top of me digging something sharp into my bag working its way up on top of my lungs, pushing every last bit of air out of my lungs to the point where I can’t breathe or speak, and the dumb b$!?! Suffocated me!!! I had no way of telling her to get off at that point because she had squeeze every last breath out of me! I blacked out and came too gasping for air. I was so petrified for my life, I had no clue what to do, except lay there in complete shock. My masseuse disappeared out of the room for 10 minutes! I was so embarrassed, scared and shocked. So then she returns and says the same thing, «tell me when hurts», and I’m think dear God, please not again but this time I heard her climbing and holding onto the walls as she started to stand on the back of my knee on purpose, so this time– being able to breathe of course I told her it hurt, so she did the other knee, which again I told her hurt, so the. She started walking up my spine again trying to suffocate me, so I just told her to get off. She then fishined the«massage» by digging her nails into my face, scathing my toes, and dropping– not placing– a steaming hot towel onto my face, and then she stated, «sorry it may be hot» no sh! t Sherlock! Thanks for dropping it on my face! So this time I had gone with my boyfriend and my friend and neither of them had someone stand on them and quite enjoyed their experience while I had a panic attack in the parking lot. I do not recommend this place unless you want to be suffocated, stood on, or left during your massage, and if you get a horrible experience like I did and try not to pay and complain, they play the whole«I no speak English» BS, and if you ask for a manager they claim«they don’t know manager» and when you finally get the manager on the phone she will hang up on you. Well the place used to be good, but recently it has changed. They have this new bald guy working the front desk and he really has ruined the atmosphere, He even short changed me one time, they need to get someone else to greet people at the front desk, he sort of gives me the creeps. Also the girls working there fight over when a customer comes in then after the massage is over they stand in front of you waiting for the tip. You go to a place to relax and when I left I felt more stressed will never go back.
