My daughter and I just started going here a few months ago and we love it! Chad, the owner, is our stylist and he does an amazing job with both of us. Went in today for a root touch up and he put in a few highlights around my face and gave me a bang trim and it’s perfect! The place is a fun shop to hang out in, very friendly, clean and an overall A+! So happy to have found you through the great services of our local Welcome Wagon lady, Carolyn.

Erin worked me in even with my last minute request. I loved that he worked very quickly and I got so many compliments on my new hairstyle. He immediately understood what I wanted when I came in and even sensed that things could be taken a little edgier. Did I mention how many compliments I got? He is so nice, talkative but not too much so, and even though the location is somewhat out of my way, I will be back. Erin promised me I would fall in love with him and I did!

I’ve been a Soho client for over 8 years. Erica & Chad are the best in the industry! Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and the best cuts and highlights around!

Ok. Not sure why Unilocal is hating on Soho Salon. There are 35+ reviews & many are 4&5 stars that they aren’t including in Soho’s rating which makes Soho look really bad. Totally unfair. I’ve been going to Soho once a month for over a year now & not once had a bad experience. Chad cuts & colors my hair to perfection & Aaron gave me the best Keratin treatment I’ve ever had. My 2 teenage kids go to Holly who does an amazing job & my husband goes to Chad for great cuts as well. And either Ashley & Kristin greet me with big smiles & «how ya doin?» every time I go in. And if by some chance you don’t get the service you expect, talk to Chad. He’ll make it right. Soho Salon IS the place to go in Johns Creek/Alpharetta!

I love Soho Salon! The atmosphere is so inviting. The lay out and design as well as the complimentary beverages make you very comfortable. The stylists are really nice and Aaron did an awesome job on my hair. Will definitely be going back!

I’ve been going to Soho for about 6 months now, having started with a Groupon cut and highlight in the summer, my first haircut in nearly 2 years. I loved my stylist Aaron so much that I’ve been back to see him twice more! I am one of those people who loves to have pretty hair but basically has no clue how to make it look good or even what style I want, so Aaron has been a godsend. He always has suggestions on length, style, and color that are spot on. And the styles he cuts for me are so fantastic that even *I* can style them at home and still look good! The prices are a little on the high side compared to where I’ve traditionally gotten my hair done, but the quality of the work is really fantastic. This is definitely a case of getting what you pay for. Even when I came with a Groupon, the service and the quality of my cut were excellent. The salon also offers amenities like refreshments and a cool setting, but honestly, I come here just for Aaron and how beautiful I feel after he cuts my hair — not just that day, but for weeks after.

Extremely disappointed! Maybe if you go there without a Groupon you would get better service? Front desk is not very friendly and even though Ashley was super sweet, I felt so rushed and now am regretting ever going there in the first place. Hate my cut and I can’t even tell I got highlights! So devastated! I’m embarrassed to be seen, that’s how bad it is. Will never go there again!

AWEFUL customer service at the management level. I made a reservation for cut, and updo for my daughters prom. They screwed up on scheduling and were unable to cut her hair. So they proceeded with an updo on my daughters very frayed and unruly hair. She needed a haircut first which is why we booked it that way in the first place. My daughter had a photo to work from. At the end, I came in to look at her hair she had frizzes everywhere, it looked awful and it looked nothing like the picture. I spoke with the woman at the desk who stated she would not charge me and they would«try» to find someone to correct it because they were busy. What? I make an appointment in advance and YOU make the mistake and your going to «try»? So the end result was another stylist«dry» cut her ends and did a simple curling iron job. NOTATALL what my daughter wanted, but at that point we had no choice. OUR time is also valuable, and we also had a schedule. So I genuinely thanked them for there effort, the original stylist apologized and even had tears in her eyes over the horrible job she did in the first place. I actually comforted her and told her we would be back for regular cuts as we had the past two years. Yes, I am a two year customer. Imagine my surprise when a manager called me a first days later telling me I DIDNOT pay for the services. I told her i was told that there was no charge. She actually had the nerve to tell me they were charging me for the correction! What? I would have gladly went back since they did attempt to fix the mistake, but after that phone call, NEVER again. The manager actually tried to make me feel bad, by saying«she would have to take care of» of the lady that did my daughters hair last. And told me we should have had a picture. WEDID! This manager should have called me to first apologize and then get the story from the CUSTOMERS perspective BEFORE asking for money on something they screwed up on! i really can’t believe the way i was treated and I think it’s absolutely crazy to upset customers in an area that has so many salon options. I am totally dismayed and can’t believe the owners allow this type of shenanigans ruin there reputation.

So because of the level of OUTRAGE I’m in… and to let others know the seriousness… I am writing an update about the condition of my hair from being murdered from this terrible stylist at this terrible salon. It has been over a month… and usually even bad cuts get a little better over time right? Well this place has beaten the odds… and my hair seems to get EVENMOREHIDEOUS and JACKEDUP. I try to style it… straighten it… curl it… NOTHING makes my hair look right because how chopped up it is in the most stupidest/random places. I’m trying to get it recut ASSOONASPOSSIBLE but I do not want to cut my length… and with the messed up cut in order to actually fix it. they would have to take inches off. UGHHH. I would not go back here even if they promised free services for life. OMFG.

Chad is awesome! I always go to him for color, cut, highlights or whatever I want to do to my hair(ombré lately). The prices are a little high, but you definitely get what you pay for.

I got my hair done at Soho this past Saturday, thanks to a Groupon deal; their prices are really good for such an upscale atmosphere in John’s Creek. My stylist was Casey and she is a little ball of energy; such a sweet person. She took time to listen to what I wanted. But didn’t deliver… there was at least an inch of hair that was highlight from my scalp… And I bought a hair product that needed a pump. I didn’t realize it till I got home. I feel that if they sell products, they should know it well to know if it needed a pump. And the reason I am gripping about it is because I live almost an hour away. I really do not want to drive back up to get a pump that should be included or given one.

Just got back from my «royal» treatment at Soho Salon today. Again, Erica exceeded my expectation with a fabulous hair cut and gorgeous highlight color. Sigh, what is not to love about her? Nothing! Go make your next appointment today. I already made mine!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Rachelle Meadows for 2 years now and it’s always consistent and just as asked. The consistency alone makes her prices for men’s cuts not only reasonable but well worth the money. She remembers how my hair needs to be cut to make up for odd cowlicks and how I like my sideburns, neck, etc. I get as good a hair cut from her as i have with anyone and I’ve been through hairdressers like Clooney goes through girlfriends. NOTE: I’d like to disclose that she’s my sister in-law but Alpharetta is hardly a convenient drive for me so rest assured my review is fully legit. I couldn’t give her 3 stars, but i could also not review the salon at all. I stand by my five — and my hair’s rep is on the line. The salon is a laid-back modern atmosphere with huge table in the middle stacked with magazines. The space is flexible allowing highlights and color to be done in the middle of the room rather than at a mirrored station. The also have soft drinks, coffee, and popcorn snacks(among others) if you get parched or plan to be there for color and cut. I often see moms and daughters there together and it’s definintely a family-friendly atmosphere. They seem to offer all the services you’d expect from a professional hair salon and I’ll confess to the occasional eyebrow waxing to keep the unibrow at bay. They sell Kerestase and other high-end products, too, which doesn’t mean much to me(head and shoulders seems to do the trick) but i know people need their products!
