I’d like to be able to offer a comment on the quality of the shooting facilities, but unfortunately I didn’t even make it that far. Considering the severe ammo shortage occurring currently, I made sure to call and make sure they had some ammo in stock for customers to purchase for use on the range, which I was assured they did. I called yesterday evening before heading up to the range this morning. Upon entering ASP, I browsed for a few minutes waiting on another customer to sign up for the range and overheard them asking to buy the same ammo I needed. The range employee didnt find any behind the counter, and the manager he asked replied«GONE» offering no further explanation. I walked out at this point. Learned my lesson the hard way, save your time, spend a few extra bucks and go to Nashville Armory. Better customer service in a professional atmosphere. I tried to overlook other negative reviews and give ASP a chance, but sadly it’s not to be. I won’t be going back.

Got to check this place out the other day, thanks to a friend. Small gun shop, but it’s nice, it has an indoor gun range. I saw that Allied Barton a security company goes over there for their practice. I haven’t had the chance to check out the indoor range yet, but would love to sometime. Also i see that they have a gun I want to rent, so definitely would go back to rent that gun. Might as well try before you buy, right?

I used to love this place… But I had a horrible experience with a guy I’m pretty sure is the owner. So, I won’t be back… Ever!

A friend told me about this range and store the other day so I decided to visit today. Firstly, the photos here and on their website are misleading. Maybe they’ve had a bad couple of months, but in the photos they look flush(completely stocked), but when we visited today the shelves were practically bare and the ammo is grossly over priced. They had fairly good prices on their guns, but almost no rifles and their prices weren’t better than Guns & Leather. Their range fee is the cheapest in Mid TN($ 10 + $ 5 for each additional person, $ 1 for targets), but their range may be the worst in Mid TN. They were not busy(it was 14:00), there was one other person in the range, but my wife and I still felt unsafe. It was very«primitive» with a poor ventilation system. There were crates, boxes and hoses all over the floor in the range, both behind the shooting booths and actually in the range. The target hanging system was made of string, old school manual wheel, coat hangers and binder clips to hang targets with. I have nothing really against this system, but for the same price for one person or $ 5 more for two you can have a much better shooting experience. I guess if you live in Joelton and can’t really make it to Greenbrier, then this works, but as two stars says, «Meh, I’ve experienced better.»

Killer place to come and shoot… actually should I use that term for a review of a gun range??? Seriously good fun. The guys behind the counter are your average good olé’ boy types who if you don’t know them don’t show you any respect. Kind of to be expected though from a gun shop. I imagine all the shit you have to deal with on a daily basis makes you a little more apprehensive to treating everyone like they’re your friend right from the start. Ranges are neat and well kept. They have a full on gun shop inside as well.

This has to be one of the best shooting ranges I’ve ever been to. The people there are always willing to help. Most of the time it’s like having your own private range and the prices on their firearms are some of the lowest around. They even beat the gun show prices.
