Very clean and friendly staff. We are staying while work is being done on our house. Free FYI and good breakfast in the morning. Love waffles every morning. Staff very pleasant and was notified on cell when room was ready to move in well before three which got me away from my house early. I appreciate little things like that.

Not sure why this place has gotten such bad reviews. You get what you pay for. It is a 2 star hotel. It is clean, has everything we need, free wifi, breakfast, parking. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely polite. It is a bit on the older side, but that kind of stuff doesn’t bother me. My only issue was that the key card didn’t work very well in the lock. It took us about 30 tries before we had success. The walls are also a bit thin. When you’re out in the hallway, you can almost tell what the people in the rooms are watching bc the tv sounds so loud. Once you’re in your room, though, you can’t really hear much. At least, we couldn’t. Again, nothing fancy, but you cannot really expect that from a 2 star. People need to be more realistic.

Hotel is in very rough shape and understaffed. The one person working there was very professional. Room smelled. Window cracked and taped up would not shut completely or lock. All the hotel could offer was a stick from outside to keep anyone outside from coming on in.

I don’t understand how anyone can rate this place above a 1 star joint. Pros: *None. Cons: *Far out. Away from everything except the noisy airport or maybe that was noise from the highway, I can’t tell. *This place is in a scary part of Jessup. *There were people walking down 175 and people hanging out next door at the Red Roof Inn at midnight on a Tuesday. *This hotel is located down this weirdly abandoned street that looks like a street from a horror movie with dozens of abandoned trucks on the side of the road. *Our room smelled like, I don’t know. A mix of old carpet and molasses. My fiancé kept asking to spray my perfume which garnered a rolling of the eyes bc I feel like I should never let him convince me to use Hotwire again. *The woman at the front desk seemed really nice — even though I had to wait over 5 minutes for her to come to the front when I arrived. I almost put my experience conversing with her as a «PRO» until she lied. *Our tv didn’t work in the first room we were given. We called as soon as we settled in our room after driving 6 hrs. She left us on hold for 15 minutes. We hung up. When we called back she said 5 different ppl just walked in and she was really busy. This place is as dead as the Bates Motel. 5 customers aren’t walking in at midnight on a Tuesday. Nope. I need to see receipts to believe that one.

Stayed one night with my brother and his wife. As soon as we got to our room, my SIL noticed a little machine outside our room that she thought was used to get rid of bed bugs… AHHHH! Come to find out, it was an ozone machine… weird. The. She saw a roach down the hallway why she was going to get ice. I went into the bathroom and there was no toilet paper. I called the front desk and he said to stop down there and get some. Anytime I’ve needed something at a hotel before(especially if it were TP), they would bring it to the room, so I was a little annoyed, but then found out he was the only one on staff, so felt kinda bad for him. To top things off, there was a huge spider in our room that we noticed right before we were going to bed. Yikes, sleep tight! :-/

–Location is off the main road, quick access to highways –Staff is friendly –Old building, I’d guess 70s/80s, but seemed clean from what i saw(apart from the Cheeto under my bed) –They allow pets –Free breakfast, very basic things though, don’t expect eggs Benedict –Nice TVs –Full length mirrors –Lots of outlets –Free wifi –Starbucks in a plaza right across the street(for you coffee addicts) Overall nice hotel, but if you prefer 4-star hotels, you probably won’t like it.

This is an older location, but it has been brushed up a bit. It is back off of the main road, so highway noise is not heard. The staff has been friendly and the housekeeping seems to meet all of your needs. The break fast does not start until 6:30 am, which is a little late if you want to beat traffic. Breakfast is otherwise good with instant oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, bagels, and cereal. Of course there is coffee and juice, too. This is a great place to stay, but is not one of the plushest La Quintas I have visited, thus the 3 stars.
