3D Nails & Day Spa

Last night I went to this establishment. couldn’t wait to get on Unilocal to describe the best customer service I’ve received on top of the excellent manicure and pedicure I received. First I arrived here after going to Rosy Nails in Severn… Rosy nails was dirty looking no one greeted me and I was told I had a 40 minute wait and I could sit on their couch and wait. The couch was torn and dirty. I searched Unilocal and drove to 3D! Best decision ever! I was greeted with a smile and engaged the moment I came through the door. Although I came in a little after 7 and they close at 8 they stayed until 8:45 to finish up with me! At no time did I feel rushed. I was engaged and my nails and feet look divine! On my way out the door I was thanked for coming by three separate individuals! Service with a smile .I will be back and have told every person I’ve spoken to about my experience! I want to say Thank you for a relaxing and wonderful experience to the manager!

In typical me-​fashion, I gather as much info as I can about foreign nail salons prior to taking the plunge, then get integrate my patronage accordingly. My last experience a little different, my MIL booked an appointment for the both of us at 3D and I jumped at the offer. Our appointment was on a Sunday afternoon and upon entering you could not tell as business was booming, there were at least 10 patrons getting manicured at a section of stations located on the right side of the salon. We were guided to the pedicure area — a number of spa stations arranged in a circle with decorated dome overhead — charming! We were seated and proceeded to soak in the warm water with bath fizz for about twenty minutes before the pedicure commenced. About 10 min into the pedicure, I noticed my nail tech (a dude) was taking care to shape and buff my nails to perfection — he was working magic b/​c a couple of them had been chipped DJM. I thought to myself — you’ve got to Unilocal this place! About two lines into the first review I read, the Unilocaler highly recommended someone at 3D named Andy. So I’m wondering if this is him b/​c he’s doing the damned thing on my toes — now massaging my calves. I waited until he was applying the polish to ask for his name, then excitedly informed him of his celebrity Unilocal status. He smiled and told me come back again. Comparing my experience here to other nail salons in the recent past, I am delighted oblige!
Here are a list of things I noticed:
— Salon services pamphlet with spa pedicure treatments, some are priced the same as the basic pedicures so def give it look-​see and judge from there. My mother in law had the milk and honey spa treatment ($ 40) and I chose the basic pedicure priced treatment down to earth ($ 35), if you don’t pick from the pamphlet you’ll likely just get the basic pedi at $ 35
— Lots of up-​to-​date colors and great brands: OPI Essie etc
–Appointments are necessary, walk-​ins are accepted but don’t get your feelings hurt when you end up waiting awhile.
–A gel mani is only $ 30 here, compared to $ 34 and up elsewhere.
–ANDY is the bomb! Believe the hype :-)

Loved Andy. First time there and will go back again. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because before leaving 2 of my nails were messed up, he fixed them and then when I got home it wasn’t fully fixed but other than that I loved my experience.

I used to love it here. Since the management changed, the service has gone downhill. Prices have gone up, and they’ve added fees for things that used to be included. I don’t think I will be going back for my pedicures anymore.

I’m new to the area and by far this is the best service I’ve ever received! The spa is so relaxing and comfortable. The designs are unique and original. While getting a pedicure you can enjoy a glass of wine or juice. Sandy has been doing my nails but everyone is so talented and polite too!

I brought my 3 roommates for a mani-​pedi day (2 are guys) here because it’s around the corner from our house. The store itself looks awesome. But, the massage chairs weren’t particularly comfortable because they offered no neck or head support.
They also don’t really offer very many polish colors.
One of my roommates got a french manicure and the lines were far from straight. My technician did an ok job of my nails (one solid color) but got paint on my skin and didnt wipe it off which I thought was weird.
Overall, it wasn’t bad, and a mani-​pedi was $ 30 or so but make sure you bring cash because thats the only way you can tip.

I’ve been coming here for years — back when it was Sapphire Nails and now to this new re-​branding & management 3D Nails (I really don’t get the name — 3D? How?)
But new name aside, this is a really nice strip mall nail salon that offers a few extras that most other nail places do not. Spa menu, complimentary beverage, in a really pretty renovated environment!
I got a Milk & Honey pedi and silver glitter gel mani. It took an hour and a half. I wish I could figure out how to say — skip the leg massage — let’s just slather and go. But that’s what you get when you walk in on a Friday afternoon at 3pm without an appt trying to get to happy hour & a B-​Day celebration! Best to just relax & enjoy!
You don’t need to use special glasses to see that 3D spas offers great nail services at bargain prices!

I went to 3D Nails and Day Spa earlier today for a bikini wax, based on good reviews from when they were Sapphire Nails before. It was a terrible experience and I will never go back for another bikini wax. The woman who took care of me took way too much off and was clearly unexperienced. She did such a poor job that she ended up breaking blood vessels and left me bruised in several places. She had to go over the same areas over and over again in order to get everything off and I left with skin that was very irritated, which is not normal for me. She also didn’t bother to clean off all of the wax, so I had to do that when I came home on my own.
My brow wax was fine, so maybe it was just the bikini experience, but I won’t be returning again.

Was formally called sapphire nails. They were very friendly and Andy did an excellent job on my nails. They take their time and process are reasonable. Will definitely go back and recommend friends.
