My daughter has gone to St. Elizabeth’s since she was 3 months old. We couldn’t have picked a better school /daycare. We toured and were on waitlists for all of the«best» schools in downtown JC, when we heard about St. Elizabeth’s School(infant — Kindergarten) via word of mouth. It seems that they don’t advertise — AND they have been around since 1927. The eight to ten minute drive to Journal Square is well worth it! We are able to pull right into the school parking garage, located in the building(had to mention this big plus). The pricing for the school is also very reasonable and more than half of the other daycares around. The school is immaculate and I was so comfortable with how my daughter was cared for everyday. The learning at such a young age is also quite impressive. More than anything we love the staff — All teachers and nuns at the school are wonderful and caring. At a little over a year old our daughter started to say«schooolllllll schooollll» every morning with excitement(as well as letters etc). She would literally RUN to her classroom.

This school is amazing. My son has been enrolled here for going on two years. He is there from opening until anywhere between 3:30 and 5. I have picked him up at various times and his class is always busy and engaged in age appropriate activities. The building itself is spotless. It is always clean and at Christmas it is beautifully decorated. The curriculum is appropriate for the youngest children to the Kindergarten. I feel that my son has learned so much, even at such a young age. I have never had an issue with this center or the policies/procedures.

My kids have been going to St Elizabeth for three years now. The teachers and staff are organized and responsive and love kids. The place is very clean. What I like the most is that the curriculum is very well organized and they do stress discipline which a lot of other schools lack. Kids learn how to listen and to respect teachers and authority. if you don’t mind that your kids will learn religion — this is the great place and prices are very reasonable(especially compared to private daycares in Manhattan or some other fancy daycares) Location is convenient too — 5 – 10 mins walk to Journal square depending on how fast you walk.
