Actually giving one star is one too many. If your considering going here I strongly advise you NOT to! I arrived 20 minutes early to my appointment and after sitting in the over crowded waiting room for over two hours I finally went to ask for my id & insurance back. Nope I never even got to see the doctor. Not once did anyone come over to apologize for the excessive wait. It was purely ridiculous. No thank you we will most definitely NOT be back!

After recently moving to JC from CT, I had concerns that I would not find another great doctor for both myself and my husband. After attending my first appt with Dr. Taubman, I was relieved! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! Everyone provided EXCELLENT service: the front desk, nurses, Dr. Taubman, the office manager, and even the medical staff from the Pediatric department offered referrals to specialty doctors(since I am new to the area). I am really happy that I found this facility and would absolutely recommend this office to anyone searching for a great facility /doctor in the JC area.

I would give zero star if there is an option. I took my son who is three months old to see Dr. Noël Bansil for severe eczema and diarrhea. I waited more than one hour before seeing the doctor(and I have an appointment). The doctor is in a such a rush that he would not even listen to me carefully. I was still talking and he started washing his hands and getting ready to go. I told him that the eczema caused itchiness and he prescribed hydroxyzine syrup right away. I asked him several times whether it is safe for a three month old and he said yes. I can give it to him every day. My online research later tells me that I shouldn’t. He then suggested that I do blood test for him next door to test allergy. I again expressed my concerns since my son is only three months old. He shrugged and said, they won’t draw a lot of blood, just a few tubes. A few tubes probably is not a big deal since it’s not his child. But to me, he clearly doesn’t put the patients’ benefit first. I took my son to an allergist a few days earlier and the allergist said my son is too young to do a blood test. So I left, without drawing the blood or filling the prescription of course. And it will be my LAST time to this place, or Noël Bansil ever. I would advise anyone to avoid them if you can.

Let’s face it. It’s pretty hard to find a decent doctor or doctor’s office in Hudson County. Why, I don’t know. Riverside is a nice facility – a new, clean building(that counts for a lot around here). The doctors and nurses are very nice. Dr. Malik is very caring and takes the time to ask questions. However, the medical care isn’t great at all. First of all, Dr. Malik completely missed the simple problem I had. I had to go to a specialist, who spotted it right away. The nurses, while nice, act as if they’re in training. They seem perplexed by the computer generated list of questions they ask while they’re weighing you and taking your BP. I had to get bloodwork done and the lab tech was 45 minutes late to open the lab. The lab consists of a room with a curtain. Of course you don’t need much privacy to get your blood taken, but what if you have questions? I hate the thought of trekking into NYC when I need to go to the doctor, but the care is better there, in my experience.
