I usually get arroz con gandules and pernil. Their food is pretty good and reminds me of my grandma’s home cooking. I’m away for college and this is the closest place to get some yummy Puerto Rican food when I’m craving something that reminds me of home!

Great little place for authentic food. The BBQ ribs were the best I have ever eaten. Sweet plantains were amazing.

Had a mofongo here with my wife. Meal was incredible. Rich flavor, lots of food, and all under 10 bucks a person. If you are looking for a puerto rican flavor than you will find it with this restaurant. Only downside is they mostly do takeout so if you plan to come in you will have to buy waters or bring them with you. meal takes about 20 minutes so trying an appetizer might be a good move to last till your food arrives. Top notch restaurant.

Just had their mofongo. Talk about tradition. Flavor, crispy pork bits, and slabs of pernir chunks. all the making of a traditional Puerto Rican meal. if you’re ever within walking/driving distance and looking for some good authentic Puerto Rican dishes, head here. priced at $ 9-$ 12 per plate, and worth it. Note* in the last 20yrs other monfongos have evolved, including the Dominican style which tipically has all ingrediences(ajo, pork/chick/cheese) mashed all up together. While this place serves it the way i first enjoyed some 30yrs ago in PR. i love both styles.

Stopped by on my way back from the record store up the block. Empanadas were on point, and only a buck fifty each! Smelled delicious in there, if I had more time I’d definitely be going back.

This place is very weird. The hours are very off. sometimes they’re open sometimes they are closed. Don’t go by the hours listed here. Horrible!

OK… get ready… It is Official the Best Puerto Rican Restaurant in Hudson County NJ. In fact, the BEST Latin Caribbean(Cuban and Dominican Cuisines)…Sorry La Conguita, Las Americas, ME Casa, El Sabroso, and Hard Grove…:( The Mofongo with Pernil *Roast Pork* was Huge and Delightful! The Chicken Stew *Pollo Guisado* was Tremendously Delightful! They serve Big Portions and the total was $ 18 dollars. I gave a $ 10 Tip. I was Pleased. I wish they were located Downtown Jersey City… :/ God bless Delisias De Puerto Rico.

Just moved to jersey city & my boyfriend and I were looking for a quick sit down place one early evening. we both had chicken with rice, side of beans & plantains. GREAT food. If you love hot sauce, they can bring you a reused ketchup bottle with their hot sauce. VERYSPICY but taste is Great! Woman working there was so sweet. definitely recommend

The food and service were excellent. Portion sizes were generous without being humongous. Priced very reasonable. Happy to have discovered this place near where I live. I will definitely go there again and will gladly take my friends to eat there as well.

This restaurant is hands down one of my favorite in the area. The food is traditional, authentic, and most definitely affordable. My only complaint is the $ 10 credit card minimum, and the fact that their hours seem to be somewhat sporadic. Whether for take out or a casual sit-down meal, Delicias is a hit.

Chicken stew con papas with red beans and tostones, excellent and well priced. If the chicken was a bit meatier woulda been a 5 star joint.

Nothing less than absolutely divine. This restaurant is the epitome of traditional and authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. The Mofongo had the perfect balance of favors and texture, the platanos maduros are sweet to the taste, and the natural juices they serve(mango, passion fruit, etc.) taste exactly how they sound… NATURAL! This place is a definite MUSTTRY. You won’t regret it!

My husband and I have been here twice and both times we were completely impressed by the food, the service, and the prices. We both had yellow rice with chicken stew – big portion, full of flavor. There are so few restaurants in the area that we are DELIGHTED to have this one nearby.

The food I feel needed a bit more flavor. The rice and beans were good. But the chicken and platanos had no flavor and was a bit dry. My friend ate the tilapia and fritos and wasn’t Inpressed either. Maybe it was a bad day for the restaurant idk.

«Great food, desrts and natural juice drinks. Service is exceptional, decoration inviting. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is the music. They need cd player or other device to play real typical puertorrican music.»

Steak with red sauce an onions with rice and beans for $ 8. Small quaint, indoor seating, clean, obviously a family owned restaurant, very good food. This is now my regular stop when passing through Mcginley square.
