I hardly ever write reviews on Unilocal let alone a negative one. But went here for the first time to have a dress altered. The dress was $ 120 and they wanted to charge me $ 85 to alter it and it was going to take them over a week to do. I need it for a trip and didn’t think it was a big deal. I live in the heights and always try to use local merchants but this is absurd. I don’t know why this place has such good reviews on Unilocal.Not impressed. Wouldn’t even have minded paying the money if they were doing this in a few days. I asked explicitly when I first arrived «will this be ready in a week if I come in right when you open.» They told me «yes we can have this next Thursday morning» but they put on my receipt after 4pm and when I asked for the third time they said no it wouldn’t be ready. Complete waste of time.

Been bringing my clothes here for a few months now and am very satisfied. They do a great job with dry cleaning and are friendly and work quickly. Would recommend to someone who just moved into JC Heights.

I’ve been going to this dry cleaner for about 20 years now. They’ve always done an excellent job with my clothing, and I honestly can’t complain. Their prices are fair and they always ask when you need your items by so they can have them ready and waiting for you in time.
I’ve had pants and skirts hemmed here as well, and they do a great job. They have reasonable hours but are closed on Sundays so just be aware of that. If you have any special requests or questions, let them know. They’ve always been very helpful and responsive to me. If they don’t think they can get a stain out, for example, they don’t lie. They simply promise to do their best.

I haven’t dry cleaned here yet but I plan to. I will say the seamstress knows her stuff. I have also had my curtains pressed here and they were able to take me in last minute on a Saturday to press an elegant gown with many layers on the same day. They are willing to work with you and I appreciate that with a local cleaners.

I’ve been taking my work clothes (suits, slacks, shirts, etc.) to Daisy’s for over a year now. Their prices are reasonable, their service is great, and they do a great job taking care of my clothes. I’ve had some minor alterations done, and they came out well. The staff are friendly, and they’re very flexible with turnaround times.

Good cleaners, never have not been happy with clothes I drop off here for cleanings. I also have had some pants shortened here and been really happy with the results. I was worried they’d be too short once I washed them, but the seamstress knows her stuff! Also, she recommended normal thread for the hem of 2 pairs of Jeans I had shortened because she said it was similar to the original hem, which saved me some $$ because the demine thread is more money. I really appreciated her advice, especially since she could have said nothing and made a couple extra bucks off the job!

When I bought a house in the neighborhood the owners said «Be sure to take your dry cleaning to Daisy!». They have been in business for ages and are always very nice, professional, and the clothes are consistently clean. I’m always amazed they remember my last name and how my husband likes his shirts starched. They have hemmed and repaired clothes for us with a very short turn-​around time. I totally trust them with my clothing. As an added bonus, they are using organic solvents (vs. the old toxic ones).
