This place is amazing! I have been looking for a good rosti spot in the NYC area and this place hits the nail on the head, especially being so close to Grove St. Not only do they have rostis, but they also have made-to-order coxinhas, croquettes, pao de queijo, and portuguese baked goods! It’s your one-stop-shop for delicious brazilian munchies. My only tiny qualm is that there could be more seasoning to the potatoes. Cute spot, good ambiance, everyone there seemed to be truly enjoying their food. I cannot wait to go back for more. PS. — It’s BYOB with no corkage fees!

Delicious food that is unique to the area, the nicest staff, laid back environment, that happens to be BYOB, can’t really ask for more. The Batata Suica are outrageously good(I’ve had the filet mignon and the shrimp so far) and the various stuffed croquettes and assorted pastries might be even better. Will be back to try everything.

Café Batata is worth stopping by. The coffee is exceptional and the many Brazilian style dishes are fantastic comfort-food. Oh, and they are BYOB!

We came by with 4 of us checking this new place out with 2 bottle of wine, everyone greeted us with great welcoming hello !!! And welcome!!! This café is known for their Brazilian authentic batata suica(stuffed hash brown). Just have to say, best batata suica ever!!! I got the one with beef chilli, just best!!! My friends tried smoked turkey and sun dried tomatoes. I highly recommend their smoked turkey! Absolute best! Soo glad this is near our place and I can’t wait till next time !!! Best part about this place is byob, great food and friendly barista !!!

Never was a turkey person, but batata(stuffed hash brown pancake) with smoke turkey and white wine cream sauce was very savory and cozy. Atmosphere is eazy going, chill, yet upbeat and modern. Their esspresso was phenomenal! Great local spot to chill and hang out. Still got more items to try out!

Tried their brazilian fresh brewed coffee and it was amazing! And also tried two dishes, filet mignon and bacon mushroom, both were excellent. The sweets and savory treats are all traditional Brazilian, very authentic! Love this place.

We tried this place today for lunch take out and are fans! We got the bacon mushroom and the sundried tomato and both were excellent. Good portions, too… even have a little left over. The salad add ons were a nice option. Very excited this place has opened as is so good! Can’t comment on the dining experience, but the owner was very helpful via phone. Will definitely be returning! I recommend trying it!
