horrible rude service! messed up my nails totally! will never get my nails done here again! i thought i would get better service as per location! i was wrong! zero stars for me!

Overpriced. The person who did my pedicure scrubbed my foot so hard that it tore a small part of the skin on my little toe and she did this AFTER I explained that I’m diabetic. Then I asked for a manicure and she said she was too busy. I will never go back there again. What a rip-​off!

Worst service I’ve ever experienced at a nail salon. This after multiple visits to give them the benefit of the doubt. They pressured me to upgrade to a more elite service, asking «spa pedicure?» several times even after I declined. I don’t like being pressured when I go somewhere to relax.

I was in desperate need of a pedicure and wanted to change my nail color on my finger nails even though I had just gotten them done at another place earlier this week. Since it was one of the only places open on a Sunday night I came here, let just say I decided I should of just waited until Monday. There werent many workers working so one person works on 2 – 3 person at once. Annie the Owner was doing a fill in, a manicure and a pedicure at the same time. The work is rushed and sloppy. When I told the woman who was tagged in to finished my pedicure I didn’t like my toe nail shape and I liked square she attempted to fix it, when I told her I still wasn’t happy she said OK and then painted them, not caring that I was unhappy. After that I sat at the dryer for 30 minutes waiting to be called for the manicure. I wasn’t called. My sister also came with me and she got a manicure, when I saw the end result and I got up and left. This salon is an overpriced disgrace. Please do not waste your money. Go somewhere else, anywhere else.

I tried quite a few places in JC before I found Annie’s…from the very first time I walked in the door I love this place. It is clean, well maintained, everyone is friendly and they do a great job… every single time. Whether it’s my nails, a pedicure or massage I have been very happy. They even gave Christmas gifts to their clients… nothing spectacular but it’s the thought that counted. They appreciate their clients.

WORST EVER– Not even worth 1 star.
$ 170 for me and my 10 year old daughter and the lady was on the phone most of the time. My daughters pedi is all chipped after 3 days and my gel mani is chipped uneven and discolored. Then the man screamed at me because he didn’t give me the correct change. He watched the camera then gave me back the correct change and really embarrassed me on new years eve. He didn’t even apologize after realizing he was wrong. If it wasn’t for me being with my daughter I would’ve walked out and not payed at all because of the crappy services and lack of professionalism.

STAY CLEAR. Gave me a hard time about paying with credit card, tells me my credit card is no good and then points at an atm, that happens to be conveniently placed by the register.
Plus, the girl who did my massage (different girl from last time) just did a massage anyone can do. There was really no method or fluidity. She was literally all over and was constantly hurting me with her elbows. I am no stranger to massages, good and bad. This one was just that bad. I’m really sorry to say, and I am not that type of person who just writes bad reviews. As you can see from my previous one on this place, 3 stars but I raved about about the amazing massage I had the before this. Ugh! Sucks to have to be the one to say it!
I am actually more pissed off, that they tried to play the old, «your credit card is no good» ‚“credit card machine is broken”. I have worked in a salon and spa, and we usually just call in the credit card.

This is my «go to» place every two weeks for my «me» time. Everyone is so kind and they go out of their way to make and keep you happy. I’ve been coming here seven years and refuse to even try another salon. They offer so many different services to suit your mood and needs. My words cannot nearly come close to expressing the quality of the services at Annies … you need to experience it yourself.

These people are money hungry. Some of their pricing are ridiculous and nonsensical. I wanted a regular mani — standard nail polish with my 2 ring fingers in different colors. They says that’s $ 3 extra because it’s a design and it takes more time. My ring finger painted a solid color that’s different than the rest of my solid-​colored fingers is a design??? And what extra time does it take? Must be a lot of time to open the second bottle? That was the silliest thing I’ve ever heard!
Furthermore, they wouldn’t buff the soles of my feet with the scraper because they said that comes with the spa pedicure package and not the regular pedicure package. I’ve never had a salon refuse to use proper tools in a pedicure in order to get more money.
After being there for 2 hours I needed to leave. They told me if I’m in a rush they can use a quick dry top coat for $ 1 more!!! What?!? You’re charging me extra for a top coat? What’s more, I’ve seen the same brand of quick dry top coat in my local beauty supply store for $ 1. The entire bottle for $ 1 and they’re charging $ 1 per use! I mean, highway robbery much?
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind paying for my mani pedi. I’m not being cheap. I just don’t like being nickeled and dimed over the silliest things. It makes it seems like you’re not here to do good service but to strip me of every last dollar I have. Like just charge a standard price and do good work. If the mani pedi is $ 30 or $ 40 or $ 50, then fine I’ll pay. But don’t tack on an extra $ 1 here or $ 3 there for standard mani pedi services. Stop trying to penny pinch people. Especially when there’s a nail salon on every other street corner.
Needless to say, I won’t be returning to Annie’s nail and spa. I’ll go somewhere else where they work for their tips honestly and not try to shake you down.

Saturday was my 3^rd time coming here, I was not disappointed. First time I went there was close to a month ago for a gel manicure because my regular location was closed. And I wasn’t disappointed so much so that I didn’t have to go back until now for a fill in, then i went a couple weeks ago for a quick pedicure; I honestly got one this weekend because I wanted to spoil myself, my feet still looked decent! And this time yet again it was great! and they remembered me and what i had done over a month ago! Highly recommend this place for the service, cleanliness, and the good work they do.

Love coming here. My go-​to for mani & pedi and have been going here for 5yrs. Very hard workers and they always remember you.
Parking is ok but there’s two lots you can park in (one next to ASHIYA and the back lot when you take the Hudson mall u-​turn)

In my opinion this is the best nail salon in jersey city, they know how to do everything correctly so that it last. I usually get a regular gel manicure when ever in do my nails and most places the polish will start chipping in a week or so, where as here they last about 3 weeks. Every time I come to them with a design I find off the internet I never leave disappointed. They have parking which is a plus and for some reason every time I go in I never have to wait long to be served. The atmosphere is always calm and professional and they remember who you are. My only gripe is they are quite expensive but for the quality I come out with is hard to beat.

Gel manicure completely disgusted. Negligent treatment therefore rough polish covering and uneven nails’ shape. There was no attention at all. Wiped my nails off with alcohol by my self at the end just because I stayed alone. The worst experiance I have ever had! UV lamps (still !!!). Not even 1 star. Horrible service. And all of this for 40 $, price like on Upper East side Manhattan. Very disappointed.

One of things that’s brings peace to my day is to walk into this establishment especially after a long day from work. Annies Spa not only has a friendly staff they are phenomenal at what they do. I get massages and get my mani and pedicures all under one roof. They also perform eye lash extensions as well for those interested. I have been a loyal customer for a few years now. I enjoy coming here because the location is convenient for me. The quality of work is truly exceptional. Ladies leave satisfied and relaxed. For this reason alone, as long as I can afford to come I will be happy to give Annie my business and recommend my family & friends to this fine establishment as long as I continue to receive the excellent service I pay to receive. Each individual worker here works very hard, Kira, Jenny, Winnie, Mandee, Cindy, Annie. Thank you for always treating me like a Queen. Pampering is the ultimate relaxation.

I’ve been coming to Annies for a long time over 5yrs… love this place. Everyone is really good very friendly. Winnie is my favorite! Mindy, nancy and Kira are great too. Highly recommend.

This place is literally my go-​to. The service is exceptional and the prices are reasonable.
My recent start in my was startling considering that when I was browsing for a lunchtime nail session, a REGULAR pedicure would have come out to upwards of $ 35.
NOT HERE, not in Jersey! $ 35 gets you an amazing spa pedicure with all the bells and whistles. The guys and girls here do really good jobs.
PS ladies and gents, don’t forget to tip your nail techs generously!

I was skeptical at first going to this place after looking at the reviews but overall I had a wonderful experience today. At first I was just going to get my individual eyelashes removed but also ended up getting a pedi and full set of pink and white uv gel nails done. I thought they did a great job. They were fast and friendly. I would definitely come back again.
