Awesome old hotel bar and restaurant, great atmosphere nice views from large windows, very polite staff nice menu not over done kept simple, I think for better quality. We ordered a good variety of items from burgers and tacos, onion rings fries, Mac and cheese. Every thing was really good the cooks take pride in there fair, very impressed, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I’m planning on driving an hour and a half again just to go back for lunch, maybe I’ll eat so much I’ll need a room for nap or we will stay for dinner. Great spot can’t go wrong!

My family and I have been coming here for the past 3 years on our vacations and the staff has always been so friendly! The food they offer is close to perfection, and if you’re looking for an amazing burger or fish & chips, then you’ve found the right place! They also have a nice selection of alcoholic beverages that hit you a lot quicker seeing as you’re higher up in the mountains. The signs they have all over the establishment will also make you laugh as you enjoy your meals. Can’t complain about the terrific views you get from sitting by the window either! If you make it up to Jerome, then you’re going to want to give his place a try.

TOURISTTRAP! The service is decent but the food was terrible. We were in a group of four, 2 meals were edible and 2 had a bean and corn salad on the side that added a garbage smell and taste to the meal. They were nice enough to take 50% off the 2 meals. Even their highly rated Amelia Earhart Bleu cheese Burger was over-cooked, dry, and had no identifiable blue cheese flavor. Very disappointing overall.

I wish we could use profanity in Unilocal because I would definitely say this was the best f**king place we’ve ever eaten! I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and everyone at my table kept sneaking bites and stealing my sweet potato fries. I don’t blame them! Haha The Mac N Cheese is the bomb! My husband had the Diablo Burger(he said that was great). It was such a special trip for us and we couldn’t have picked a better place to eat. We will be back for sure, maybe even sooner than we planned! ;)

Bbq pulled pork and their fries and onion rings were quite tasty. The prices are good and the ambiance is also great. Very good and cool place to eat.

Took my mom here for Mother’s day. We started our meal with onion rings — some of the best onion rings I have ever had! My wife and I ordered burgers. The beef is excellent, the breakfast burger was delicious and the bada-bing burger was fantastic! My parents ordered the cuban and diablo burger, both of them raved about their food. Please visit this restaurant on your visit so it’s open next time I’m in Jerome.

Fiancé took me to Jerome for a day trip away from the city and he chose this restaurant for dinner based on the solid reviews. I would have to agree with everyone that this is your best bet in Jerome for delicious drinks, fresh local cuisine, and friendly service. We both enjoyed prickly pear margaritas and they were perfect– and strong! I ate the nacho mamma’s macaroni and cheese and it was excellent. Loved the spice and the tortillas. Fiancé had the egg, chicken, and waffle sandwich and was thoroughly impressed. He said it was unique, fun, and of course delicious. Our server was very friendly but a bit slow to check up on us and bring the check. I would attribute this to the restaurant being quite busy. They could definitely use a bit more help. The staff seemed like they were rushing around. Otherwise, a solid experience and highly recommended for a great end to a fun day trip in Jerome!

Just the restaurant, we were not guests at the inn. We were there late morning, great food and service! the place has a cool décor and the friendly staff made it a great visit. Jerome isnt a place that I can just drop by at any old time but when I get back to the area, this is a must stop. BTW, watch your speed, yall! Jerome copper with ticket your outta state plates!

Stopped here for lunch after doing the«scenic drive» on the way to Sedona. I was filled such joy after my first bite of the hot pretzel with the warm cheese. Omg it is *so* good. I would eat that every day if I could. You must order it! If you get a salad, I’d recommend the chipotle ranch dressing. My friends loved the tater tots! Friendly, fairly quick service in a cute little restaurant. I’d recommend checking out the Nellie Bly store down the street after your meal to see all of their kaleidoscopes!

Delicious breakfast at 5000 feet up in the cool old mining town of Jerome. I recommend the Aphrodite omelette and the veggie hash served in a cast iron skillet.

In the past Ro and I have enjoyed driving up to Jerome and taking in a bit of the small town life. We love the Mile High Grill — their Chicken Wings are the best! I had to cancel a trip with Joy to SF a few months ago so we agreed on a quickie getaway trip to Jerome. I reserved the Victorian Rose room at The Mile High Inn. We loved every moment. This room has a great view of the mountains and the town from below. Early in the morning, you witness a great sunrise right from your room. Joy and I loved every moment. A hearty breakfast is included with the rate and it was the perfect send off back to Phoenix. I I hope to return soon with Ro so he can experience The Mile High Inn. Cheers***

Reviewing both the Inn & the Grill here. Really cute and cozy rooms(and no I don’t mean this as a euphemism although they are on the small side) each with their own unique theme and vibe. The rooms in the front of the Inn have a nice view overlooking the main drag, just keep in mind some of the rooms have a shared bathroom in the hall in case you care about that(the bathrooms were very clean for what it’s worth). The Restaurant was great too. Very good size portions, reasonable prices, and outstanding friendly service. Probably the best restaurant I’ve tried in Jerome. Think your standard american food but definitely kicked up with some of their own twists and takes on things. No complaints whatsoever about this place. Congrats you’ve earned a coveted(not) 5th star.

Incredible breakfast! This stop makes me want to visit Jerome again and again. We had the biscuits and gravy, blueberry pancakes and salmon Benedict and it was all fabulous. Even the OJ was the best I’ve ever had. We will be back next time we are in the area.

before we got to JEROME i checked out a ton of Unilocal restaurant reviews. however, just being the fool that picks up the check, i don’t get much input as to where we eat. JULIANA, my eleven-year old daughter, ordered BATTEREDCHEESECURDS with REDPEPPER-TOMATOMARMALADE. the second dip in the photo is CHIPOTLERANCHDRESSING. she had ‘em on her last JEROME visit and was the reason she insisted we eat there(even though she misremembered them as MAC-N-CHEESE balls). anyway, she loved ‘em — everybody else at the table, not so much. the positive thing that came out of the experience is i found our local SPROUTS carries CHEESECURDS and i got some to make at home(with panko not the mushy, grease-sponge batter they were fried in at MILEHIGH). had a bite of GRANDMASHELLY’s BADA-BINGBURGER(½ pound beef patty, smoked mozzarella, grilled tomato, pepperoni and caramelized onions) and was actually impressed. good, beefy flavor, cooked medium rare like she ordered, complex blend of flavors. but why do SWEETPOTATOFRIES always sound tasty when you see ‘em on the menu but arrive, lip, soggy and nasty ??? PRIMERIBDIP(shaved prime rib, creamy horseradish, sourdough baguette and au jus dip) could kindly be called skimpy(the menu said«loaded» but most of my bites were vegan). WYATT’s CHICKENTENDERS and fries from the kid’s menu were freezer to fryer. the service was courteous, attentive and friendly. nice to see servers in a place whose business is built around diners they don’t expect to see again put in some effort. we could have done a better job of ordering. maybe if everybody had had burgers, MILEHIGHGRILL would have gotten five stars.

You would think that finding a good place to have breakfast would be easy, but it’s surprising how many places just don’t provide good breakfast fare. Mile High Grill is one of the good ones and deserves each and every star of its high rating. One of us requires eggs and meat, at the very minimum, for breakfast, — the other one can take or leave«the most important meal of the day.» The Mother Lode made the breakfast purist one happy camper! Eggs over medium cooked to absolute perfection! Sausage & potatoes also tasty. This dish came with biscuit & gravy. The gravy had chunks of sausage and the gravy had a nice pepper spice — very delicious. The Mile High Granola(granola-yogurt parfait) came beautifully presented in a mason jar. Lots of house-made granola layered with Greek yogurt and lots of fresh berries. No skimping on any of the ingredients. This hit the spot! The coffee tasted great and our cups never ran dry. We heard the bloody Mary’s were good, so why not start the day with an adult beverage(other than coffee)? Mild? Medium? Spicy? Decisions, decisions. Oh, what the heck — spicy! Bring it on! Whoa! Pep-per-y! Good, but pep-per-y! But, down the hatch it went! Great service. We were greeted and welcomed as soon as we walked in the door, and let to a table. Cute décor — lots of(humorous) signs on one wall. Highly recommend Mile High Grill!
