Lange Eylandt Market

Checked this place out thanks to a Unilocal posting. I’m a sucker for a good farmers market, especially on a fall day. Plus hey — Drew was there kicking out the tunes and handing out free Unilocal swag, yay reusable market shopping tote!
I wish this place was advertised a bit better. If it hadn’t been for Unilocal I would never have known about it. It’s right next to a major shopping center in Jericho– ie. Whole Foods, Starbucks. There were a few booths worth checking out and a yummy soft pretzel, though nothing can compare (for me anyways) to a hot NYC pretzel fresh from the cart. A lot of booths had samples placed out, I grabbed some yummy granola and a piece of a whoopie pie. Very tasty.
All in all, if you’re in the area, swing by while the market is in town. I’m all about supporting local business and this is a great opportunity to do just that.
