Great brunch at a relaxing, family friendly café in Jenner! My boyfriend and I both got a brioche egg sandwich, and neither of them disappointed. The brioche bun is so soft and buttery with a nice little crunch on the edges. My Salt Point sandwich had maitake mushroom, avocado, fried egg, arugula, and garlic aioli. The aioli was amazing with the egg and bun. The mushrooms, although fresh and the main point of the sandwich, wasn’t my favorite. It could’ve used a little more seasoning. The home fries were also delicious — they were small finger potatoes that were seasoned perfectly and had just the right ratio of crunch to soft potato meat. The ambience was very relaxing and laid back — a perfect representation of northern Cali backcountry living. The service was a little slow, but our waitress was very nice. Make sure to grab a seat by the window for the best small-town brunch experience.

Food here is fantastic and even though they didn’t have a lot of vegetarian/vegan options on the menu, they offered to make something special for me without blinking an eye and it was so fresh and delicious. We had lunch there and couldn’t wait to come back for breakfast. All the produce is local and seriously tastes like they just picked it out of the garden before putting it on your plate. Coffee was great — everything here is such high quality, gorgeous setting right on the water and the most lovely, friendly and accommodating staff. Can’t wait to go back!

This review is VERY late as I was here back on the weekend of the 4th of July… Oooopppsies! Anyhow, their beef burgers on brioche was probably the best burger I’ve ever had! PERIOD! My understanding is that this eatery was in dire straights but it seems that they had redeemed themselves! I’ll be back on my next vacation here.

Great place for a meal with the family. Stopped in for brunch after a camping trip at Ocean Cove. Everything was delicious, authentic and prepared perfectly. Coffee was great, fresh squeezed juice. The hash browns were incredible and unique. Very cool design in this eatery, rustic but hip. Can’t wait to go back.

Just had breakfast here today, I had the«goat rock» crêpe. Fantastic, all local ingredients, loved it, really filling. My wife had the tradition eggs and bacon with toast and potatoes! Awesome. You gotta go here when in the area.

I had the salmon club, and my girlfriend had the burger. Wow! Just awesome. A welcome turnaround from the way this place was a few years ago!

Had the crepes… goat rock *(super yummy), and the one with mushrooms, asparagus or zuccini, cheese and egg on top. Both come w/a side salad and yummy fresh salad. Everything is locally sourced, organic etc. We had the peaches n crème brûlée dessert as well, and all was really yummy! and very healthy :) nice find along the way. the service was fantastic, fast, warm, helpful, couldn’t say enough about it. they do use the ipad and square to as their register, and i didn’t think about it til someone else wrote it in theirs… that is kind of unusual to find in small remote towns along the coast. Would love to come back when we pass through again! Oh also had the peanut butter, almond milk, banana, maca smoothie – also really good!

The best burgers we have ever eaten! Local pasture raised beef, house made fresh baked Buttery brioche bun, local fontina cheese and add the applewood bacon! Organic arugula and interesting hot sauces, hand cut fries as a side. The coffee is good and strong and the staff is delightful. Eat inside or outside with your dog on the patio while gazing at the American River and peaceful setting. Nice music on the speakers too. A bit spendy and worth every penny.

This place is so gooooood! People are sweet. Décor is fabulous and the menu is darn tasty. Their homemade broiche sandwiches are dank. Also don’t miss the mate lates.

Lovely little eatery on Highway One. Food was the perfect bite for a long ride back to the Bay Area. Fresh crepes, with all manner of beautifully prepared fillings. Only knock is that there is no visible sign giving the title of the place, and little cell service to call to get directions. We wandered in and were lucky enough to be in the right spot, but a bit of a signal for hungry travelers would be a welcome addition.

A very lovely eatery in DT Jenner, tucked away in a hotel by the sea. It doesn’t get much more picturesque than this, folks! If you are lucky enough to stop in during café hours, dine inside! There’s salads, burgers(veggie and meat) as well as crepes. Also on the menu are selected beers and wines. Perfect for a day in Sonoma paradise. Service is quirky, yet warm and helpful. Order on an iPad and have your receipt emailed, not something I’d expect to see«out there» in relative seclusion. Why 3-stars? Prices are steep! Lunch for four(with a beer and wine and two smoothies) including tip was over $ 100. Woah! Food was fine, but not $ 100 fine. Watch your ordering and share a plate if you aren’t famished. Other than that, an adorable oasis in ruralville.

4 burgers, 2 fries, three non-alcoholic drinks, 1 beer = $ 95, plus a 15, 20, or 25% tip?! The ambiance was beautiful, the people who worked there were very nice, but you will pay for it, my friend. They use Square to ring up customers, which doesn’t have a receipt printer apparently, so you have no way to A) check if your order is correct and B) why the hell your order for burgers is almost 100 bones! The creepy part was the receipt was emailed– although we never put in the email address for it to be sent to? I’m sure this is more to do with Square or possibly credit card company, but still. Just kind of strange. Also, there is little cell service/wifi to check your email– you have to really want to put the effort in. They did in fact charge us for bacon on the burger, which we never got. However: the brioche burger buns were delish, the heirloom tomatoes were divine, and the burger itself was tasty– although some thought the patty could use more seasoning. Fries were good. Also, there are not many options around here, so if you’re hungry and in the area — you’re goin to Jenner’s Eatery by the Sea.

Awesome!!! This eatery has breathed a whole new life into Jenner by the Sea. The food is excellent, the coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere is really nice. This place is definitely going to be a frequent breakfast spot for me. You are doing your belly a disservice if you don’t eat here at least once… maybe twice!!!

This place is uh-mazing! I am so tickled pink that it is up and running! Eatery by the Sea is going to be a hoppin’ place in no time. You’ll see. I’ve gotta say that the ambiance is fantastic. The food is beautiful and delicious. The staff is the bomb. They picked a great crew to run this place btw. The energy when you walk in the door is nothing short of uplifting. By the way, there is a cozy bar set up that sells local beer and wines. Comfy couches with a fireplace allow for easy visiting with friends or family. There is outdoor seating on the front deck and a garden area out back. This place apparently used to be ran by a shmuck. Steven bought it and all the associated cabins that go with the restaurant. They are in the process of redoing all of the cabins as well. I forsee within the next couple of years that this place is going to be THE place to come to when visiting the Sonoma Coast. Oh dear Eatery by the Sea… you will be seeing much more of us. We love you and we want to tell the whole world about you!!!

Wonderful little eatery where you can find refreshingly delicious food and great service. We didn’t expect much stopping by a small town during our PCH road trip but was amazed by how good the food was and the place has it’s own charm and coolness… Just amazing!

Driving back from a restful weekend at Timber Cove we were on the lookout for some brunch and we found a GEM in the Eatery. Come to find out it is very newly renovated and it shows. The menu is amazing, had a ridiculous bacon filled crêpe and delicious greens and tomato on a bagel. After that and some french pressed coffee, each of us got a very healthy [AND great tasting, crazy] shake to go. Clean bathrooms and a sweet looking bar round out the vibe. If we ever make the long drive back to this area, we will be staying and eating here all weekend long.
