I stopped in here about a month ago before an appointment and I’m so glad I did! The store is a wonderful collection of anything you could want but I was looking for books(as always) and I even saw one in the window that I wanted right away! They even let me keep my stash at the front so I didn’t have to carry all my books around. And as I was shopping, they would take the things I had decided upon up to the front for me! So helpful! The staff was super friendly and said they expected me back at least once a month and I intend to do just that! Next time, I’ll look for a new dresser, as they have some amazing pieces!

I have driven passed Miss McGillicutty’s a thousand times and never went inside. Until yesterday I never really thought to stroll through but I was fairly surprised how much stuff they fit into that building. Unfortunately for me I felt as though a lot of it was a little bit more expensive then I would have personally spent on any of it and maybe I could have haggled the price down a little bit but I don’t personally care to waste my time doing that. If the price isn’t where I think it should be to start with then I will leave and find it somewhere else. The three ladies working there that day seemed pretty polite and acknowledged people as they walked in the store and then went to flipping through a magazine and pointing at models they wished they looked like. The front of the store, I felt, was set up a bit nicer. There was a little more room to walk around and look at stuff. The back of the store was very packed and it was awkward for customers to walk passed each other. I would recommend this place to other Unilocalers if you do old decorative bottles and plates, or other knick knack type things. I’m pretty sure there was some furniture there too but from where I was I couldn’t see a lot of it because it was covered with other things.
