Big difference in getting my racquetball racquets restrung here vses my gym sending it out. Much better quality strings and was able to pick up the following day by noon. Had I called first I probably could have had it done while I was there. Prices seem solid on some items that I may come back for.

Let me start off by saying this — Tim seems to know his stuff. That being said, he has a way of explaining things to you in a very condescending tone. I purchased a new raquet from Tim’s, and had my old one restrung there to use as a back up. The strings on my new raquet broke a week ago, so I grabbed my back up (never used since restringing), and they popped 3 points into a game. I called, and the kid that answered the phone (must have been Tim’s protégé) was very condescending as well.
Interesting tidbit — I noticed that the two 5-​star reviews are from women. I did notice when I was at this shop that Tim did get pretty excited when women walked into the store (ie — he was A LOT more helpful and nice to them). So, unless you’re going to have your sister or girlfriend go here for you, you’re probably better off going elsewhere where the service is better.

Tim’s Racquet has an extensive selection of tennis clothing, shoes, and equipment. The staff led by Tim and Don are always helpful. They have great prices and are always able to order items that they don’t have in stock. They also offer expert racquet stringing. I would not hesitate to recommend this business to all my tennis playing friends.

Great pro shop for all your tennis needs. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and you can usually find some good deals on clothes. The regularly priced merchandise is on par with other stores. They have a demo racket program, and will help you find the right racket.
