Let’s get this out of the way. Walnut Ridge Nursery is not as cheap as Home Depot or Lowes, but you’ll get much more than someone pointing in the general area of plants you might want.
The service I received there was excellent. Gary walked us through the grounds, discussed which plants would best meet our needs (hardy, easy-care, cold-tolerant) and helped us pick out what would work best for our landscaping. Everyone we’ve spoken to has had an excellent knowledge of the plants they offer including how to care for them, what to look for when choosing, growth rates, when to plant, etc. There’s a personal, professional touch that you can’t match at a big-box store.
I’ve been back a few times and everything we’ve purchased is doing well.
