I got some baby shower supplies from this company and I was really happy with the quality and quantity that I was given. They have great prices and they have a lot to choose from.

I just love this place. Let’s be really honest… there are many reasons for which one may find himself/herself in a novelty store. A bachelorette party? A child’s graduation from Kindergarten? A Thursday? Whatever may cause you to need a helium balloon, elephant face mask, silly string, phallic shaped whatchamacallits, or anything else sold at a novelty store, this is where to go. It’s just across the bridge from Kentucky into Indiana, super easy to access, and close to cute little shops and eateries in downtown Jeffersonville. There are many Horner Novelty locations, and this one is by far my favorite. Give yourself plenty of time to wander around the different(and well-marked as I noticed today) sections. There is an upstairs, too! Who knows what will bring you into Horner Novelty? I needed a magic wand and tiara this past time, but it was face paint another time and a whole host of costumes other times. It’s a fun shop in a cute area, and you’ll find all kinds of crazy(awesome!) stuff there. It’s worth visiting the next time you need a get-up or decorations for any sort of quirky get-together.

Don’t let the façade fool ya. This place is huge! It’s two floors of costumes and party supplies — though that description does not begin to do it justice. I finally ventured into this revelry treasure trove when I was on the hunt for St. Patrick’s Day supplies. Except for a random leprechaun hat and a couple of shamrock headbands, the dollar stores, big box stores, craft stores and party/liquor stores had failed me. One big box store that shall remain nameless even told me that they had already packed up their St. Patrick’s Day goods so that they could put out the Easter stuff. St. Patrick’s Day hadn’t even happened yet! But when I called Horner Novelty, the lady on the phone chuckled a bit when I asked if they had St. Patty’s Day paraphernalia. And now I can see why. There was a section of St. Patty’s Day costumes, which were reasonably priced. There was a separate aisle of party goods, like cups and plates. And then there were even more St. Patrick’s Day odds and ends mixed in, like beads, stickers and temporary tattoos. I’m sure I’m missing some of it, but you get the drift. I wish I had started my hunt here, but unfortunately I had not and had made it there just 20 minutes shy of closing time. This was definitely not sufficient time to peruse it all, but some of the other sections I spied included a wig, carnival games and basic party accoutrement sections. It definitely struck me as having a much wider selection than what is found at the Halloween stores that pop up each fall in formerly vacant storefronts. The Horner Novelty staff was friendly even though I wandered in at the end of the day, and I even got a pack of free wine glasses for liking them on Facebook. So why only four stars? I want to go back and get a better look at this awesome place!

This place is huge! This will be my new Halloween store for sure. Or if I’m having a party or know of anyone having a get together. This place is two floors and has so many items to choose from. I got some good deals on taper candles found in the wedding section upstairs and found some cheap shot glasses on the first floor. Glad I finally visited this store.

«She’s the Devil in Disguise»…no seriously great costume! This location states they have the World’s Largest Collection of Party Supplies and while I am certain this is not true, this location houses two floors of party supplies, themed ensembles, costumes, and accessories to complete any event. I am pretty proud to say that my boyfriend and I have a costume closet, bin, and hat box so you can imagine how often I frequent Horner Novelty. In one stop I am always able to find not only my costume but all accessories including tights, jewelry, and shoes. For the chaos that costumes can bring Honer Novelty is very organized. Each them has it’s own rack with matching accessories. There is are multiple plus size isles, a wig isle, a stocking isle, etc. Most of the costume items you can try on in the back first floor so just ask for customer service. The customer service is always very informative and courteous. The second floor is dedicated to party decorations and again is organized by theme. You can also purchase balloons and get them filled at Horner Novelty which I find very convenient. Even though I live literally a block away from Caulfields, I always find myself in this downtown Indiana shop. Just remember the key costume shop rule NORETURNS!!! If you need my I’ll be pretending I’m someone else…

Not only does this store have any costume imaginable; it also has every item you need to complete that costume. A total one-stop-shop! The employees are very knowledgeable and actual know where items are located in the store(rare, I know). They also carry tons of decorations for any type of party you want throw. If you want to party, this place has all the fun stuff you’ll need… minus the alcohol!

Terrific place! There is every imaginable theme here for the funnest of parties. Far better selection than other«party» stores and the costume and mask inventory is outstanding. It’s a fun place to visit even if you aren’t looking for party stuff! Glad my husband ducked in here to avoid the antique stores! He totally hooked us up with fun!

I love this place. It burnt down years ago and they rebuilt so it is even greater(more great, super great???) than it was before. We go in and put on masks, stand behind the cardboard celebrities, pretent to ride the massive stuffed animals, etc. Yes, I am an adult. Yes, I love to play! Just go in and look around and play. Kids really love this place too.
