This place was a wonderful hidden gem, but sadly has closed. No news on a new location or a re opening elsewhere.

I found this place on accident, went in, had some tacos and loved it. It’s small, located inside a bakery, has a limited menu… and it is wonderful. Tacos and tortas with either beef, pork or chicken. And, you can pick up some fresh breads, cookies and pastries while you are there. Their hours seem a bit unreliable, as I have stopped by a couple times for lunch in the past year, and they have been closed. There really isn’t much else to say except if you are in the J-town area when they are open, stop in.

My wife and I are originally from Los Angeles and we have been looking for a decent taco here in Louisville since we moved out here 3 years ago. This is as close to home as it gets around here. The tacos are awesome: meat, onion, cilantro, double corn tortilla quickly grilled, the way it should be. I highly recommend the tortas as well, since the restaurant is in a bakery, the bread is ridiculously good. They’ve changed their menu without changing the website, most of the menu is in simple spanish(if you’ve taken a few classes in high school you’ll be ok). Try the Al Pastor torta, you’ll be coming back for more…

They are an authentic mom and pop Mexican taqueria and panaderia(bakery). The couple that run it don’t speak English, but their sons do, and the menus are in English. Everybody is friendly. The only standard taco meat they seem to be missing is al pastor(roast pork).
