The journey between Eugene and Portland is best accompanied by approximately one stop at an I-5 rest area each way. Santiam Northbound Rest Area in Jefferson offers the chance to use the bathroom and to get some coffee. It is a typically beautiful stop where the nature is well kept. I found the bathroom to be clean and the toiletries appropriate. Going in and out of the rest stop was easy. It was simple to just obtain and eat some food from the car. Santiam Northbound Rest Area is welcoming to travelers.

Nice rest stop with lawn, clean restrooms, plenty of parking. Free coffee offered by Lions Club I believe. We didn’t have any, too late in the day for us. But nice to know it is there for future trips,

This is an easy to use restroom — easy to get to and from off I-5. The stalls were clean enough and stocked with toilet paper. The short stall doors in the women’s restroom are not ideal for tall folks like me, but other than that, it was a fine place to stop and pee.
