4th time here — brought a neighbor who had only been here once before. My 2 stars are based on the Italian beef sandwich that has gone down hill since my last visit. Seems like they changed to a cheaper flavorless meat — it is also sliced a bit thicker than it should be –They can’t help that I imagine since it’s brought in precooked + sliced. Real shame — Food quality should go UP — NOTDOWN. Cheapening the ingredients is the best way to get rid of customers. I would rate the last time here as 4 stars. Can’t now. Neighbor had the Philly + said it was decent. He didn’t like the 35 minute wait for 2 sandwiches though. No excuse for such a long wait time on sandwiches– there were only 3 tables besides us. I like the staff — the place is comfortable — Next time I’ll try the deep dish pizza. Can’t trust the Italian beefs anymore — not authentic for a Chicago Italian beef. I remember Ploughmans Pub bringing in the same type of meat — they closed w/in 4 months of that mistake as well as others. That is the 1st sign of a downwards spiral — cheapening ingredients. Take that for what it’s worth. I like the place + would like them to make it. I really hope the owner reads this.

This place is amazing. We have had their pizza, pasta, calzones and burgers on different visits and everything was some of the best food I have ever had! The only thing i can’t comment on is dessert bc we never have enough room left to order it! Seriously amazing food.

Yum. Their calazones(especially the buffalo chicken) are delicious and huge! My family and I love coming here to have a beer and a nice meal in the patio. Service can be slow and dull. Food is great though.

Been to different restaurants around the USA and have to say this one was a doozy. Wheelchair friendly entrance… NOT! I guessing that this area has never seen someone in a wheelchair before. Felt so uncomfortable here. Overall the food is pretty good but service is questionable.

After trying this place on multiple occasions here are my thoughts. The deep dish pizza, although expensive, is good. It is not Lou Malnatis but decent Chicago style deep dish with good toppings. Unfortunately everything else I’ve tried is bland. I’ve had the Florentine and Meatball sandwiches both which had little flavor. The meatballs tasted like ground beef balls that were thawed and thrown in the microwave. The loaded baked potato soup smelled and tasted like onions. Even the thin crust pizza lacked the pizzaz of the deep dish. The sauce is average but for the price you’re better off at papa johns down the street. I can’t comment much on the service as I normally order take out. However, I did place a dessert order to go around 4pm on a Thursday for my wife’s birthday. I arrived 15 minutes later only to be ignored for 15 additional minutes at the bar. When I was finally presented the check, it took an additional 20 minutes before my desserts where brought out. I’m not sure what the hold up was but maybe they ran to the cakery across the street and resold the dessert? Probably not though, the cannoli and tiramisu, again average. I had high hopes when this place took over for Mamas. Sorry folks, nothing special here despite the vast menu options.

Food is good, but the service has a lot of room for improvement. Make sure you set aside at least an hour for lunch. I understand that this is not a fast food restaurant, but I don’t think it’s always the cooking that causes the delay. Servers need better familiarity with the menu and more training on the basics.

I was so excited to find out that they delivered to my house. Gave it a shot and was so delicious! Think this is our new spot!

Great place ! Food may be a little greasy on the sandwiches. I have a sensitive stomach when it comes to fried foods.

Rachett’s is a gem here in Jefferson, GA. You don’t find many eateries that aren’t fast-food, so when one comes along, you’ve gotta patronize it so that they grow and others know about it. Rachetti’s is one of those places. They have a very diverse menu from lasagna and pizza to wings and burgers. There are a plethora of choices not just in appetizers and entrees but also in customizing those meals to what you want. For those with gluten-related disorders like myself, they have gluten-free bread for their sandwiches and gluten free pizza, too. Both the bread and the pizza dough are wonderful. Their bread is better than even regular bread. On my most recent visit(12-24-2015), I had a hamburger with gluten-free bread, lettuce, tomato, and guacamole. I like my meat to be VERY rare and the chef(a hilarious guy, BTW) did a superb job on cooking one of, if not THE, best burgers I’ve every had. This coming from a guy who regularly ate at Yeah! Burger, Farm Burger, and Grindhouse Killer Burgers when I lived in Midtown. It was just that good. Great, now I want pimento cheese and a fried egg on my next burger ‚( All of this is to say that if you find yourself in the area, head to Rachetti’s for lunch or dinner. You shan’t be disappointed. Oh, I almost forgot, Thursdays is trivia night with all-you-can-eat wings(starts at 4pm, trivia starts at 7pm). Ask for Cole.

Great authentic food. They have a table up on the platform that lover looks the small quaint town. The food is wonderful. With the sandwiches you can get a tray of 2 sides. I got a Caesar salad and French onion soup. The Caprese sandwich had mozzarella cheese, spinach, and tomato. It was filling and wonderful.

Stopped in after reading some good reviews. I was not disappointed! I like deep dish pizza and thought I would give it try. Got the 10″ pepperoni. Enough to feed 2 or more! It wasn’t as good as Genos in Chicago but was good. Sauce was good, lots of cheese, pepperoni was tasty. Lots of good looking items on the menu. I’ll be back to try them.

Average… Sorry folks. Yes, I’m from Chicago and yes I miss the pizza. This is OK on pizza. Nice place. Nice people and I will try it again. Looking at the menu that shows Chicago hot dogs too but nothing mentioned about Vienna Beef hot dogs being used? That confused me too. But there quite a few places in Georgia to get a real Chicago hot dog.

Omg a real Chicago pizza. Passing through will make it a stop every time I’m in the area. Good atmosphere great staff cold beer. The red sangria is good too. Not a pizza person try the adult grilled cheese.

After a great reception from the bartender our experience has gone downhill quickly. We were seated and then ignored for 15 mins. The finally ordered and waited another 30 mins for the appetizer to arrive. If we ever get our meals maybe the experience will get better but at this point thus will be our first and only trip here. So food finally arrived. My steak and cheese panini was as close to flavorless as anything I’ve eaten in a long time. Very disappointed, I was really hoping to have a good local restaurant, guess we’ll have to keep waiting.

Fantastic atmosphere and service! Food was very good. Sweeter type sauces isn’t our thing but still was quite pleased with our visit and would highly recommend it.

Great experience. Deep dish pizza was on point, and the fried pickles were fresh. My mom ordered a Caesar, which came out with creamy Italian on it(not sure why) and she hates it, so they quickly brought her a new one. Everything tasted super fresh, great menu(even though the waitress wasn’t incredibly knowledgeable about it, but it’s a new joint so I’ll let it slide). Waitress was polite, will definitely go back.

Food is some of the best you can get in Jefferson! I have been twice now and have tried 2 different dishes. The Spinach, Asiago, and Ricotta Ravioli was out of this world good. It came with a side salad and garlic toast. I tried the Grilled Chicken Alfredo on my second visit, and it was delicious as well! It also came with the salad and toast. Both dishes ran around $ 11 which is kind of expensive, but very worth it. The wait was not bad, and the servers did a great job.

Chicago Style pizza has a special place in my heart, i grew up on it so i am pretty familiar with it. They really have a good pie here and am excited to have them so close(not really good for my diet) Had a 10 inch stuffed peperoni and it was awesome. Crispy crust gooey cheese and a great sauce. Thanks for bringing Chicago to Jackson County
