I ran a photography studio down the block from these guys for 6 years and I ate there religiously. There food was always on point. Over that six year period the food stayed consistently excellent and the quality never wavered. The amazing $ 1 beef tacos will blow your mind and are worth making the drive to Jefferson!

A good, family owned place for authentic Mexican cuisine… if you order something different from what you normally get in Mexican restaurants. They make tacos just as they do everywhere in Mexico: on small, soft tortillas, and filled with various kinds of meats and topped with cilantro. Burritos are delish but enormous!
Baked goods are terrific.

Delicious food and wonderful staff. My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our way back home to Eugene. We tried the Torta al Pastor and the Enchiladas Rojos. They were amazing and the gentleman at the front counter was super nice.

La Espiga is a very nice little Mexican bakery /​restaurant. What they have is very high quality. Great authentic tacos are a favorite. Also sandwiches (tortes). We’ve been customers since they opened, at least 10 years ago. If I could, would give them 4.5 stars.
