Hale House Bed & Breakfast

The Hale House Inn was as good as they come. My husband and I have made a hobby of spending time at Bed & Breakfasts. We’ve stayed at a handful I Jefferson, as well as a couple of the ‘haunted hotels!!” Timm and Karen Jackson are the most gracious, caring, kindhearted innkeepers we have ever had the opportunity to meet. They showed their home with pride, and obviously loved every minute of what they did. The breakfasts were always begun with a smoothie to «wake up your taste buds,» and finished with friendly, comfortable conversation that made leaving to explore the history or he area a very hard thing to do! I know that Timm and Karen had been trying to see the home for a few years, and while I secretly hoped they’d have to run it forever, I am so happy to know that they found the right buyer and are happily moving on to the new adventures life is bringing them. We’ll miss the Hale House Inn, terribly, but we’ll miss Timm and Karen the most.

This was my husband and I’s first time staying in a bed and breakfast and my oh my, we were so impressed!!! Timm and Karen Jackson are the lovely owners of this little delight and they made our stay so warm and unforgetful. We were able to bring our dog with us so that was amazing. The house is quaint and well managed and each room has a different theme. The breakfasts are so delicious. I loved waking up each morning to the smell of a hot breakfast cooking downstairs. We will be back for sure!
