We stayed one night in October, just when the weather was getting cool and everything was perfect. We were greeted by the owners who showed us to our room, gave us lots of literature about the area as well as directions on how to get there. There was free coffee, water, sodas, and snacks everywhere. Our room had a TV, an awesome king size bed, comfortable sitting areas, and a clean, cozy bathroom. There were plenty of areas in the house to lounge in. The game room and parlor had lots of comfortable chairs, reading materials, and a TV(game room). We toured the market area and if you’re into antiques then your in for a treat. If you’re into anything else… well…you’ll probably need to get into antiques. We had dinner at the 5 D Cattle Company restaurant in Avinger which is about 15 or so minutes away. Reviews for them say they are BYOB however they now stock a full bar and are de-BYOB’d. The next morning was awesome. The temps were cool so we sat on the porch while breakfast was cooked. At 9 we ate baked apples with an oatmeal center, pumpkin pancakes, and sausage. The amount of food was perfect and the taste was even better. The owners were always available for questions or a chat, but disappeared when you wanted privacy. If I HAVE to find something to be negative about, it would be that you can hear moderate traffic when you’re outside. Not enough to mention to my significant other when we were on the porch, but enough for me to notice. Again, when compared to everything else, it’s a small negative against a TON of positives.

This place was great when we stayed, the breakfast was good, the room clean, the location was perfect. The only thing was one of the innkeepers. I am not sure why but I didn’t feel she was sincere and really didn’t care that we were there. We were a younger couple(30s) and weren’t married yet at the time we stayed and just didn’t feel very welcomed by her. She was short in her responses to us and was all business. Her husband Rob was a sweetheart and very helpful. I was going to leave this review on trip advisor but whenever there was any negative review about this place, whoever responds to the reviews went on and on about how good the quality of everything was. There is no doubt the quality was great but our issue was with the wife. We do not wish to get any response to this review from the B and B and hope they will respect our wishes. While our stay may have been a fluke we will opt for another B and B next time we go.

What can one say about the hospitality of Delta Street Inn’s hosts Pam and Bob Thomas. We arrived late December 132013 and immediately were treated like family! Bob greeted us like long lost friends. We were offered a variety of beverages, and freshly baked cookies then shown to our room. We stayed in room 2. The Delta Street Inn is a small Boutique style B&B built in the Prairie Style of the 1920’s and it very comfortable and extremely clean! Our room has a queen bed a nice little desk, tv dvd player and comfy chairs. The bathroom has a standup shower and cozy bath robes. I was impressed on how clean and tidy everything was. But this is the house. The real Delta Street Inn is actually Pam and Bob and their hospitality. We slept well and awoke to the smell of fresh brewed coffee. We made our way to the dinning area and feasted on a magnificent breakfast prepared by Pam. There we met and socialized with the other guests. Some were repeat customers and some were newbies like us. We developed friendships immediately. While enjoying our meal Pam and Bob would visit with us while attending to their tasks. Before we left for our daily tour of Jefferson I spent some time asking Bob for recommendations on activities and places to visit and eat. He was very helpful in providing this information. I highly recommend you take advantage of both Bob and Pam’s knowledge of Jefferson. While we were gone our room was cleaned and and made as if we never slept there! Haha I am a freak about cleanliness and they impressed me! I recommend Pam and Bob and their Delta Street Inn for anytime of the year. I hear there are some great events in May and I look forward to our return to Jefferson!

Wonderfully inviting and delightful place to stay for a couple nights on our visit to Jefferson and Caddo Lake. The five rooms are nicely equipped with all that one could want and are cheery, clean, and comfortable. Our hosts made us feel like true guests. In addition to a full and delicious breakfast each day, we were treated to home baked cookies, soft drinks, water, and tea/coffee. The prairie style home sits on a nicely landscaped large lot near to the historical part of Jefferson. There is plenty of easy parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
