Service was terribly slow and we were the only ones in the store at the time. Dining area was dirty and the food was subpar. Ordered an Oreo Brownie sundae and couldn’t even eat the brownies — they were hard as a rock. Disappointed… the whole family was looking forward to this stop on our way through town.

I didn’t eat anything so I can’t vouch for the food. However we took a little boy there almost every day for a week and he enjoyed everything. The employees were all very nice and helpful. They all seemed happy to be there and quickly took his order and served him with a smile. This is one of very few choices in Jefferson, Iowa. Check it out and go have a sweet treat.
