Great local place to grab breakfast and a coffee. Great ambiance. Staff is friendly. Kinda tricky getting in and out though.

My morning stop for great coffee and grits. If you’re stopping in for lunch try the chicken salad on croissant and grape salad for dessert.

Fantastic little place with a very friendly staff. The place definitely has a coffeehouse feel, but serves outstanding sandwiches– I had The Maverick. Try to arrive early to avoid the lunch rush, or parking(and finding a place to sit) will be a challenge. My next visit will be for breakfast and coffee.

Great local spot! The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and I love to meet friends for coffee and take my kids here for breakfast. One of the best breakfast spots in town!

A nice place to meet up with friends over a cup of coffee. Breakfast and lunch items are wonderful, too. The friendly service, great ambiance, good coffee, and reasonable prices make it a winner! Try the Chicken Panini or the Augusta BLT at lunchtime – you will find yourself going in for more than coffee!

My wife and I are native Georgians who spent a decade or so of our lives in Seattle. Since then we’ve had espresso drinks from one end of the country to the other and over most of Europe and this neat coffee shop holds it own nicely with any of them. We fell in love with the Pacific Northwest in general and well-crafted lattes sipped in a cozy friendly coffee shop in particular and we are over the moon that Jefferson Georgia now has a fine example of just that experience! Cream and Shuga serves well-made smooth lattes with just the right amount of Crema and other espresso-based drinks in real ceramic mugs in a light filled relaxed setting with plenty of tables to spread out on that invite you to pull out your book and relax awhile as you sip your drink. Great free Wi-Fi, spotlessly clean surroundings, very fair prices(definitely less than overpriced corporate competitors :-), ample parking right in front, smiling faces, muffins, bagels and light breakfast items, all are nice attributes. On the first visit you’re greeted warmly, on the second visit you can tell you’re recognized and by the third visit you’re on a first name basis and they know what you drink. Now that’s a good neighborhood coffee shop in my book!

It’s nice to see that Jefferson can support unique businesses like this one. I prefer to go local over chain if I can and Cream and Shuga did not disappoint. The location was convenient and the store was clean and trendy/cute inside. Tried the Fluffy Cloud latte and it was excellent. Menu options looked good and were priced appropriately. Hope to try the food on my next visit.

The Reese’s cupcake is to die for!!! Actually, all the cupcakes are so incredibly moist and delicious! And I’ve not yet had a bad cup of coffee!

Food was really good for a while, but lately it’s been a little bland. Someone’s maybe not following the recipes correctly.
