Food decent, price decent. Most everything was average, nothing wowed us at all. Fried rice was white rice with a little soy sauce. Beef Lo Mien was skimpy on the meat and was not normal Chinese beef. Disappointing. Overall I may go back in a pinch, as I haven’t found decent Chinese food near my house, but this isn’t a place I’d go out of my way to visit.

Probably the best Chinese Jefferson has to offer, but considering the limited food options that isn’t saying much. Food: the eggs are undersized fried rolls of mush that taste like they were frozen and prepackaged. The general tso chicken is edible. The fried rice is white rice with soy sauce completely lacking in flavor. The 2.00 wonton soup is water with two wontons topped with scallions and basil leaves. Chicken and broccoli is also edible. Overall not bad. Super quick and relatively cheap

I absolutely love chinese food and around Jefferson we have several options to choose from. It will be hard to go back to one of the other places after trying the China Garden. All of the food is fresh. They have a very wide variety of stuff to choose from and all at low prices. For 7.99 you can get a dinner entrée, rice, Soup and an Egg roll. The people are so nice and the little hole in the wall restaurant is actually quite beautiful. Really well decorated. I would highly recommend the Mongolian tripple, sesame chicken, shrimp with asaparagus, or teryaki chicken. But I honestly don’t think you could go wrong with eating anything from here. We will deffinitly return.

Best Chinese in Jefferson. I love the 7.99 deal. You get soup, an egg roll, and a dish like Sweet and Sour Chicken, Mongolian Beef, etc. Employees are always super nice.

China Garden is a welcome addition to the Jefferson area. Or I should say the management change a few years back. It was pretty bad before but the last few years it has turned a corner. Their Chinese is not great but the best in the area. Their Thai on the other hand is really quite good. The Chinese is a lot better there than after being delivered so not far to judge them on that part anyway.
They also have a fairly liberal delivery policy which out here is a huge bonus. It won’t be the best you’ve ever had but you can get a very respectable shrimp masaman, Tom Kha Gai, basil rolls and other goodness delivered to your door in the country, seriously, what’s there to complain about? If you’re 5+ miles away just be sure to tip good as to not ruin it for the rest of us. :)

I love eating here, it’s quiet and I can have a peacful lunch, reading my book without having my ADD rattled brain distracted by lound conversation or 50 TVs. The food is really, really good and the wait staff are always very nice.
