Sun Air Campground

Giving this campground 1 star is being nice. Too bad there weren’t negative stars. Upon entering the first camper you see on the right before you even get to the office is all cluttered with JUNK piled up in all the windows and the yard. Not only is that a fire hazard, that is something you don’t want people to see first thing when they enter your campground. Garbage and glass everywhere. This is a «pet friendly» campsite. There was no upkeep done at all. The «beach» area looked horrible. You could not swim in that, or even hang out and relax on the «beach». Don’t even let me get started with the owners, the wife had the nastiest attitude. She did not smile and welcome you. Horrible customer service. The public restrooms are falling apart and the toilets barely worked. I would not advise you to camp here esp. If you have a family and children. There are much better campgrounds for around the same price.

This was a horrific experience. The pictures are extremely misleading. The camp is «dog friendly» except for the broken glass, nails and screws everywhere. Customer service, shockingly despicable. That’s all I can say without stooping to their level.

Just stayed here. Lots of RV sites but a bunch of tent sites as well. All sites are wooded, some are pretty secluded. Has a small but nice lake right on the campground, no fishing license needed. We caught a smallmouth, largemouth, and pickerel, plus sunnies. A small beach/​swimming area as well. We built a huge fire, drank alcohol, and played the radio all day and had no complaints or problems from ownership, and we never saw our neighbors. One of the better campgrounds we’ve visited.
