My first visit to Family Medicine to see a general practitioner I looked at the sheet and they had triple booked my time slot. I was there for 2 hours and 45 minutes. The nurses took vitals, etc. and asked basic questions, but I saw the doctor for literally 5 minutes. This is not an exaggeration. She kept looking at her watch the entire time she was in the room. Thinking it was a fluke I went ahead and came back a second time I saw the doctor for no more than 5 minutes again. Needless to say the care is very impersonal. Additionally, they are unable to tell you what anything will cost until after you get the bill. I saw someone in dermatology and the experience was barely better. The facility is pretty decent, but the staff, customer service and billing are atrocious.

Decent medical care for Jeff. Best your going to find around here. The facilities are clean and well managed. If you want better medical care your going to have to
go to a bigger city such as Saint Louis.

Great hospital. I come here for regular check ups. The doctors are wonderful! They are very nice and kind. The building is nice and new. Overall very nice hospital. I highly recommend JCMG.

After receiving some very conflicting statements with my eye doctor in CA, I decided to visit Dr. Wankum and Weiss in JC at JCMG when in Jeff City.
WOW… Wish I had come here sooner. Honest down-​to-​earth guys who know what they are doing. GREAT!!!
