My kids love this place! They also love the homemade chicken strips!

Don’t really see why people like this place. Interior is dark, food is not that good, and service was slow. We went at 4:30 on a Friday night– 3 adults and a toddler. Seemed to be a place that the senior set like to frequent — doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad food, but…
Took a hot minute for a waiter to come by with bread after we just got our water and menus. They have an early bird menu til 5:30p with cheaper entrees, and I ordered the chicken picatta. My friends ordered the veal parmesan and lasagna. Those were not included in the early bird menu. Food came out fairly quickly and both of the chicken and veal dishes came with a side. The person who had the veal thought it was good but it wasn’t enough for him. My chicken picatta was a chicken breast with those pre-​made grill marks and covered in this almost neon yellow lemon butter cheese sauce and mushrooms. So weird. Kinda yucky. My friend liked her lasagna.
Check took a long time to get, but they were able to split it after much ado. However, I was charged full price for my entrée. Didn’t have time to dispute the charge and just wanted to leave. But… make sure you check your bill if you’re ordering before 5:30.

Sloooowwww! 6:30 reservations, seated at 6:25. Ordered 6:58, food arrived 7:52. finally got our check at 8:52. Out the door at 9:00 We order fast and eat fast. This was ridiculous. Icing on the cake: not once was our wait aknowledged or apologized for. If we waited any longer they would have had to charge us rent. It would be forgivible if I felt like anyone gave a d$!#

I love this place, it is probably the best restaurant in town. The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and their wine selection is great.
I recommend their Malbec if you like red wine with a full body.
Also you should try their «crème brûlée»… It tastes exactly like in France. So yummy!!!

Fantastic Italian restaurant. Skip the pasta and go straight for the meat entrees. Incredible steaks and seafood, and I love the chicken dishes. Chicken Daniel and Chicken Tomas are favorites! Love the butter/​lemon sauces.
Recommend you add a house salad. Sweet Italian vinaigrette and lots of cheese. Yum. Always plenty of fluffy bread and excellent service. The waiters here are professionals.
Truly wonderful locally owned restaurant.

We went once. Didn’t see what all the fuss was about. Prefer Madison’s for the same style menu.

As an Italian from Chicago — I’m picky with ethic food. I have to say… food was excellent.
Our group ate the seafood ravioli, chicken parm and fried ravioli. Food was fresh.
Only issue — slow service. We were in no hurry…

Nice atmosphere. Prompt service.
Had the filet with mushrooms in a lemon and white wine. Very tasty and the steak was tender and correctly prepared. Bread and salad were yummy and fresh. The broccoli was steamed just right with a nice fresh asiago cheese as a compliment. All with a nice compliment of good red wine. Ok 2 glasses of wine, but I was deserving.
Would return again next time in town on business. Worth a try. Nice menu to choose from.

Best italian food in Jefferson City.

I was a bit concerned based on 3 star reviews, but pleasantly surprised. The special was fantastic, including a ruby sauce and balsamic reduction. House salad was great.
The atmosphere was nice, not fancy. I felt it representative a family owned restaurant with Italian accents and nice patio.
Wine list was pretty limited. Service experience was excellent.

Went with the family to this establishment using a $ 40 groupon. The service was wonderful and fast. I shared the blackened steak sandwich, a baked potato and the shrimp fettuccine with my boyfriend. The dishes complemented each other quite well. However, I think if I only ordered the sandwich it would have been much too rich. The Fettuccine was perfect for me, but the bf though it was a little over cooked. No room for dessert, but maybe next time. Also on September 17^th, the restaurant is giving away 10% of their sales to United Way!

I was in town for work and happened to see the sign which made me wonder if they were related to the Domenico’s and Arcobassos in St. Louis, MO. They are! Being that I grew up on this food back in the day, this was a true FIND on my one day trip to Jeff City.
I sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice, not over bearing, but made the right amount of conversation. As I looked over the menu, I noticed Chicken Daniel’s description was very similar to my most favorite entrée of all time (Chicken Christina) at Arcobasso’s, so I had to try it. I was very pleased. There is a slight difference in the thickness of the sauce, but it was close enough to be considered the same. Chicken Daniel gives the option of breaded or grilled chicken. I highly recommend the breaded!
The entrée comes with soup or salad and I chose the salad. Again, the house dressing is superb and reminded me of what I grew up on. Then I also had the choice of pasta, vegetables, or a few other sides and I chose the sauteed veggies.
Dessert was crème brûlée and again, I was not disappointed. I ate every last little bit and didn’t feel the least bit guilty :)
This is a smoke free restaurant which made sitting at the bar even better. The owner was present, personable and a very down to earth approachable guy.
I’ll be back on my next trip to or through Jeff City!

I dined here with a large group so I think the wait staff did a fairly decent job of getting our drinks filled and orders delivered.
The appetizers were fairly average. There was nothing really special about the bread which is what you expect from an Italian place with $ 18-​$ 25 entrees. Mozeralla sticks and buffalo wings did the trick to tide me over until my entrée came out.
I ordered the Orange Roughy (which was is nostalgic of my childhood). It came out perfectly cooked and tender just like I remember it was supposed to be cooked. It was also served with a house salad and a side of pasta, both of which I liked a lot. Most of the other folks in my group ordered steak or chicken and everyone seemed happy with their meals.
If I travel back to «Jeff» City, I would definitely eat here again.

To read the menu this is the greatest restaurant in Missouri. It’s not. Nice and clean, and service is ok, but the food is verrrry bland. Mediocre food at best. The bread came off a truck-​I could buy better bread at Schnuck’s or Hy-​vee! The tomato sauce tasted like it came from a can and the pasta was tasteless and soggy. Don’t eat here!

Friendly service at the bar and in the restaurant. Big uneventful menu in the restaurant. Really uneventful food. Luckily the baked potato was decent.
There’s no reason to hear unless you’re excited about being surrounded by old men smoking at the bar.

Pleasant atmosphere and excellent selection of pastas and meats. Unfortunately, my pasta was overcooked and the meatballs were average. A good place for family dining or first date. A solid three stars.
