Arris’ Bistro

Although the filet mignon I ordered was barely cooked when I received it, they were very good about sending it back. It returned to me still a little too red, but I was pretty full at that point from great vegetables and a good salad. They did their best, but the chef clearly had a hard time cooking such a thick filet. Unfortunately the cut was not particularly good to start with, but it all worked out OK.

I had the Homer pizza. Topped with feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and pizza cheese. The combination of ingredients was tasty, but overwhelming salty.

Let me start by saying I came here mostly because of the Unilocal reviews, fellow Unilocalers you let me down. The date of this visit was 11/​07/​2015.
The staff was not terrible but that is about where the positives end. The wait was close to an hour before apps. Much of our order was wrong or we had to ask for it twice (soup, salad, drinks etc). The chicken was so overcooked it was completely inedible. The food that was edible was extremely bland.
After managing to force down about a fourth of our food, we asked for our check and voiced our concerns with the manager about the food and service. When they brought our bill, there was absolutely no compensation for our service or food.
I would strongly recommend you steer clear of this place.

Nice place for lunch or dinner. Atmosphere is very nice, food is very good. I had an Arris Burger with a side salad. The burger was topped with bacon, avocado, tomato, onion and lettuce. A delicious sandwich!

Ok. I am working I same business and I know is not LA. But how you can make a bad Ceasar salad socking in dressing and put Onions I really say onions. The fried calamari the most de gusting I never have, dry with no taste. The steak perfect cook I give him a A plus but the vegetable not taste and frozen cold, my son French fries smell like calamari why because cook in same oil. Very bad
The Malbec on the list let go very sweet and terrible, he is the reason I did not have wine and I love my red with my steak but cannot trust the wine list. I know I travel and will not be in Jefferson City for a while but I want people to know the food was not good. Angie the waitress was fantastic and so professional is why I left her a great tips. But the chef suck.
I work for the largest Cateting CO in LA if one of our chef cook like that, he will be already at the door. Sorry to be strong on my word but I love food and it was not food. SORRY

AMAZING!!! We are Visiting from Texas and our cousin told us we needed to come here. So happy we did! Not only was the food outstanding but the service was perfect. My sister and I tried the soup of the day and shared the butternut squash ravioli. When you go ask to sit in Jeremy’s section. He was great!

Not really worth the money. For a foodie little town this place is just average at best. You can do much better.

This place is consistently delicious.

It’s obvious that they take great pride in their food. Their menu is extensive and offers options for every palate

One of my favorite places in town. They have an eggplant and roasted veggie wrap which is unbelievable. And their desserts are absolutely amazing also. Great modern décor and would be perfect for a date. Some outdoor seating.

Never expected a place like this in Jefferson City! Very trendy style, EXCELENT food and beer (and I used to live 90 miles from Greece), and very good service. Prices are reasonable for food this good. I will return again this week.

Cute restaurant that almost makes you feel like you’re no longer in Jeff City!
The food was delicious (we really enjoyed the fried zucchini appetizer), but it is kind of pricey. I had fries as a side and wish the serving was a touch bigger. The desserts were really tasty (we had the swirled baklava).
One thing to be aware of – parking is really limited. Several folks around us had to get up in the middle of their meals and move their cars because they had parked in a lot next door and the guy there was going to tow their cars. So, to be safe, park in the street if the lot has no spaces left.

Chicken is very DRY! Wife love the wraps, but the Chicken Sharas was very dry… especially for $ 17!!!

Great food, great service. I thought the Caesar salad was the best I’ve ever had and the Zeus pizza was amazing! Good beer, quick seating and friendly people. 5 Star all the way!

This is a cute place and my favorites are their chicken wings, gyros and salads.

Arris lives. I found her ultimate limit break! Gyro was great and mashed potatoes were freshly prepared, plentiful, and tasty. Would definitely return if I for some strange reason find myself in JC again.

I stumbled upon this place by accident. I went there for lunch today. The place was busy and I was settled down all the way in the back. The service was slow and not so attentive. The order was wrong (not terribly or to the point to send it back) and the server just apologized. The food was great even though the order was bungled. Then the long wait to pay… Had the server been attentive I would give this 4 maybe. But 2 is all I can muster up. I will try again though.

I love the pizza here. If you like Ria’s pizza or Alexandro’s, then it’s pretty much the same. I like it better the second day reheated in a deep, thick metal pan to get the crust nice and crunchy. The lunch buffet is good, too, but can get crowded and the pizza goes fast. I used to get the gyro sandwich, but it was too dry a couple times. Now, I just get a pizza with gyro meat and it’s always fine. Not sure what the difference is. Overall, I recommend Arris’.

Unilocal says my previous review didn’t meet the content guidelines. I’ll stand by my review no matter how nice they remodel the place.
Once I was a fan of this place but last time I was in town my friends took me there against my will telling me it had changed. All that really changed was some décor and a few items on their menu.
I guess if you eat dog food everyday and someone makes a new can and puts a fancy wrapper on it you are bound to try it and think it’ll be better. But if its the same old dog food inside its really not different, just a prettier label.
Anyway our server was preoccupied with everything but getting our order right and getting our food served to us in a somewhat untimely manner. There was only five of us and our food came out 20 minutes apart. It doesn’t really matter who was at fault they should have at least told us they messed up.
Personally I thought the food was mediocre at best. There are so many other places in town I’d rather eat at when I’m there and now even my friends who were once big on this place don’t even go there that often because they see the food isn’t as good as other places.
If you like mediocre food and poor service then you should definitely come here.

Nice place for Jefferson City. Typical attribute of many Greek owned places, a HUGH menu. I’m always wondering how they can keep the preparation high on all those different items. I had an Arris Panini with sweet potato fries and it was good with a little too much honey mustard. I’ll probably try other places before I go back. No bad but not special.
