Alexandro’s

I am in Jefferson City for 90 days on business and I love good food, so I am elated to have found Alexandro’s! I had the moussaka and YUM. I will be coming back repeatedly during my stay.

My siblings and I went to Alexandro’s with my parents a few weeks back to celebrate my father’s birthday. One brother lives in town and the other three of us traveled in from out of state for this occasion. My mother picked the restaurant and it was fantastic. The appetizers were great, the steak was excellent as where the sides and the desert. Very nice dining experience.

Jefferson City’s finest dining experience; one of a small hand full of local establishments from KC to St Louis that truely know what excellence means from wait staff to the kitchen. A treasure, to be sure.

Lived in the area for years and never made it here… big mistake! Had dinner and food was fantastic, service good and we’ll be back!

When my mother had a stroke a few years ago, her biggest fear would be that people would notice, treat her differently, and make her stand out. Last night we celebrated her 50^th birthday party here and I was beyond impressed with every aspect of the place, but most of all with how they treated the birthday girl.
The food was fantastic — even the salad was the freshest and tastiest I’ve had in a long time. There were two chicken, two beef, and a shrimp option for our large party, and they got every single order and detail right. Also for the quality of the food it was pretty inexpensive — no more than I’d expect to pay for a steak dinner at any of the big chain restaurants.
Mike, who managed our party, was friendly, engaging, and hysterical. He picked up on the room (and our sense of humor) right away and was just an utter delight.

Great restaurant with quality food well presented and reasonable. Great draft beer selection too. Quiet and pretty.
