So I just had amazing ramen with the tastiest green tea from a quaint food truck, but got to eat my soup in what felt like someone’s living room in Japan, next to an adorable Shiba Inu named Miso. Hearty, savory broth with perfect veggies and a perfectly cooked egg. I could drink a gallon of that broth. I can now die happy.

Great noodles, great addition to the dining choices around Jay Peak. This year they even have an indoor seating area, which is a plus. We sometimes head down, get our soup to go, and take it back up the mountain to the ski resort.

Love. So cute! Ski bums meet in Japan and a beautiful marriage and a ramen shop across the world in the town of Jay, just down the way from the Jay Peak Resort is born. Or so I’m told. Located unexpectedly in the parking lot next to the Country Store, you’ll find a cheerful trailer decorated like a Japanese noodle shop. Close by is the indoor eating area. Or you can brave the cold and sit by the outdoor counter. We had the sesame ramen. Boy, was it yummy! Cooked very al dente, the noodles may be too firm for some. The egg was cooked to perfection as was the pork belly. Sprouts and greens along with a thin sheet of dried seaweed rounds out the bowl. I believe the broth is a combo of chicken and pork stock. One bowl was $ 11. If you choose to sit inside the homey eating area, you’ll meet their Shiba inu dog Miso. Super cute, he decided that he wasn’t so sure of us without his humans and howled and howled at us. He even showed off how tough he was by tearing the stuffing out of his toy. His message to us vagabonds was clear: don’t mess with his people! His bark is worst than his bite though and he soon showed that he really is a sweetie at heart. I’d come here again for sure!

A bowl full of spicy ramen post ski day? Perfect stop on the way home from the mountain. They have both veggie broth and bone broth, spicy or regular and miso. A lot of them come with pork, but you can also get a straight veggie version which was really good — add an egg to make it more hearty(though the bowl is pretty big and full itself). Not overly salty like a lot of ramen can be. This place has big spoons and reusable chop sticks, but also has all compost– able utensils if that weirds you out. It’s a cool little food truck with quality food.

Spicy miso was yummy. Noodles were perfectly cooked, veggies were fresh and the bowl was big enough that I felt stuffed when it was all gone. We were excited to learn they will be at the Hardwick farmers market on Friday nights this summer.

Perfect place to eat after a day on the slopes. Miso hungry is just a few miles down the road from Jay peak and offers an awesome selection of hearty ramen noodles with all kinds of delicious extras. The staff is very nice and sociable. The outdoor seating is beautiful in spring. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area, especially if you’re feeling the hunger pangs after a day on the mountain.

After a long beautiful ski day, nothing beats a bowl of hot spicy miso ramen made by Momoko who is a transplant from Japan. Don’t get the vegetarian one. You must try the homemade pork belly slices and boiled eggs. You will thank me later.

Great food and friendly people! Thanks so much for some delicious ramen! Way better than the kind that comes in a plastic package. Definitely a must stop if you are visiting Jay Peak.

Authentic rich flavored broth, melt-in-your-mouth cha shu, this gets 5 stars because it Soooo hits the spot after a day at the slopes. I saw a sign for authentic ramen right in front of Jay Peak resort, and glad I did.

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first when coming across this shop. Any place that labels itself«authentic» anything can be anything but the real deal. Being a ramen lover, I can tell you that this ramen shop is legit. I ordered the Miso flavored soup broth, very tasty and not overpowering. Noodle texture is on point, they know exactly how much time to boil their noodles. Meat is cooked carefully, not just throwing a few pieces on there just for looks. Super impressed! No wonder they’re confident in putting the word authentic as part of their description, definitely owned up to it in my opinion. itadakimasu!

My son’s ski instructor owns it, and he told him about this Ramen noodle store. We decided to go and check it out. Now I have lived in Japan for a year, and I can tell you that this is identical to what I had in Japan. They have amazing food and it is especially satisfying after a long day of skiing or snowboarding on the slopes. The whole family ate well, and all thanks to the two amazing chefs(a husband and wife team). In conclusion, this is the most friendly and authentic Ramen noddle place which is a must if you are in town. ~Santiago&Family

Finally got down to the food truck in the Snow Job parking lot — this place is incredible! Ordered the pork party(a party with pork) and it was excellent. Perfect way to end a long ski day. Everything was freshly cooked and the flavor was perfect. The staff are great people, very friendly, and work really hard! Hope this is here to stay because I will be stopping by all winter!

Our ski instructor told us about this place. It’s a shack in the parking lot that makes the most amazing ramen noodles. The great part is broth that makes it so delicious. And it’s operated by a Japanese women. You should call to confirm hours as they often run out of broth.
