Wonderful buffet – with something for everyone – with a very low price! Food has always been fresh and high quality on the buffet at all times. Very accommodating and friendly service. My family’s been coming here for literally decades and we’ve all been well taken care of even with a large group. I highly recommend this for a quick Southern meal to treat yourselves to!

Service wasn’t bad that’s about it. Had buffet it tasted like I had multiple different kinds of tv dinners not worth the price 28 $ I paid my 14 year old son and I. He enjoyed it though but I don’t think there is much food that boy doesn’t enjoy.

This is the best Shoney’s buffet I have been to family owned, take care of their employees very very conscientious of their buffet bar food is always fresh and taste good! Very clean atmosphere family oriented and The waitresses are awesome and very attentive never miss a beat!

Eh, it’s a Shoney’s. Fairly cheap, ok food. Good service. And in a small town it’s open on Sundays… so that’s something. Beats the heck out of Dennys I suppose.

Shoney’s. I’ve been coming here my whole life. I even worked here for 3 months in high school. Manager was a total *** well, it didn’t go well. I see she is still there! Maybe it was me.
Anyway.
This is one of the few places open for Sunday breakfast/​brunch in Jasper. They have a huge buffet filled with the usual — pancakes, sausage, bacon, biscuits, grits, fruit, donuts, salad… wait, what? Yeah. Salad for breakfast. OK then.
It’s alright. Service is usually quite prompt, and the food almost never runs out on the breakfast bar. They are quick to keep the food turning over and full. The place is packed after the churches let out, so come early or be prepared to wait a few minutes for a table.
The food isn’t the best, and you end up stuffing yourself silly because it’s a buffet. Then you leave wondering why you stuffed yourself silly because the food really isn’t worthy of stuffing yourself silly. Ah well!
They have fixings for strawberry shortcake in the fruit/​dessert section. Skip the shortcake and use the powdered donuts. Oi.
