Stay away from this contractor. He does not pay his subs & you will end up with liens on your property. Renners crews are all sub contractors that do nothing but talk badly about his companies operations while on the jobsites.

We contracted Renner Construction for a finished basement in 2013. The sales pitch was good but, the experience from start to finish was horrible. Rodney Renner was never involved (though he stated in the sales cycle he was managing the entire project). He only showed up to collect checks a week ahead of work being started. The reason for this «prepayment» became clear after a short period. Rodney would use new clients money to pay past contractors or pocket the money. Almost every contractor we had spoken with told us it was a struggle to get paid timely or even at all. After completion of our project (paid Renner 100% and received a lien waver), we were contacted by one of the subs. They told me Renner never paid them for our job and that they were taking him to court. Rodney Renner never showed up at the proceedings and has not paid for this to date. Now we are told that there is a lien on our house and we are taking actions. Please don’t even think of contracting Renner Construction, you will be making a huge mistake. Be aware, we wish someone wrote a review like this prior to moving forward with Rodney Renner.
