Great little country café ! We had the pizza and a milkshake. Bought homemade muffins and took them home for the morning. Everything was great!

Oh. My. God. This place is to die for. I don’t have pictures because we ate it all too fast. I got the omelet with turkey, spinach, olives, tomatoes, and cheese. I need to preface; I’m not a big fan of omelets in general. The only reason I get them is because they’re usually the only thing on a breakfast menu that I can get because I’m sensitive to gluten. This omelet was incredible. If all omelets were made this well I might be a bigger fan of them. Everything was so fresh. It came with either biscuits and gravy or toast and my husband chose to get the biscuits and gravy. I’ll repeat — I’m sensitive to gluten… I almost didn’t let him have it! I’ve known that I’ve had issues with gluten for about five years now and before that I was a biscuits and gravy connoisseur. This biscuits and gravy was by far the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. Hands down. My husband got the breakfast sandwich with sausage, cheese, and egg. He is somewhat of a breakfast sandwich connoisseur as well and he said it was one of the best he’s ever had. The bread is homemade and absolutely delectable. It was 10:30 in the morning but we decided we needed to get some of their ice cream as well because if their breakfast was any indication, it was going to be amazing. It was. So good. I didn’t even feel guilty eating ice cream at 10:30am. We had breakfast at the other café in town the morning before and it wasn’t bad but it was just your standard café fare. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. I guarantee you won’t regret it. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The owner was there and you could tell they put their heart into that place. I wish we had tried it earlier in our trip because we would have had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. We will most certainly be back.

Wonderful service, delicious sandwiches and baked goods. They had a variety of both vegetarian and carnivore options, great atmosphere. A lot of homemade jams and honeys to but as well. What a find!

We don’t often visit Jasper even though it’s only 70 miles from home, but it was a beautiful Memorial Day weekend to be out enjoying the Buffalo River basin. We could have gone to the Ozark Café which is worth a visit itself but instead decided to try the Blue Mountain Café which wasn’t here the last time we came through town. We both had the smoked turkey sandwich with smokey cheddar and white lightening sauce. It was a large pulled turkey sandwich with everything made right there in store. Fresh baked bread, smoked cheese; it was awesome! A side of homemade potato salad complimented the sandwich perfectly. All of that was chased with a homemade chocolate ice cream cone to round out an excellent meal. Service was friendly and prompt in a quaint, rustic atmosphere. Definitely plan a stop here on your next trip through Jasper.

My husband and I were on a «quick weekend» drive through the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas(definitely want more time next time to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside here)…and we happened across this gem of a town… In the middle of the courthouse square is the Courthouse!!! On all four sides there are shops and stores and a few restaurants… and on the corner. we found this quaint little diner(deli and bakery) We arrived on a sunday afternoon and the crowd was in the square(motorcycles) and the weather was so nice. sunny and just a bit cool with a touch of heat… I love to feel the warmth on me. so the day was perfect. We walked into the Deli Bakery on the Square and were greeted immediately by the lady at the register with a smile and hello. We noticed that the store was scattered with a few tables(mix matched and quaint) with some nice décor of antiques and crafts and a mixture of homemade foods to buy and take with you. In the Antique display there were some pastries and cakes and a few pies. the chalkboard advertised their specials of home made deli style sandwiches and homemade pizza. I asked her how the pizza was and she told me the crust, sauce everything homemade and pizza oven to cook it off in… so we had to try the pizza. We ordered a pepperoni, with Jalapeño and extra cheese and onions. They didn’t serve beer so we opted to get a cold bottle of root beer and the pizza took about 20 minutes to cook and it was delicious. I would definitely order again and again if I lived in the area. The price point was great… it was a medium pizza and the two drinks came to less than $ 15 with taxes. so definitely budget friendly. Good food, Great Atmosphere and Great Pricing… a win win situation for any traveler/foodie on the go with a budget and camera!!!

A gem of a spot on the square in Jasper, this place has opened since my last trip to Buffalo River country. Offering an array of pastries, plus some heavier fare for breakfast, lunch, or a light dinner, this place doubles as an antique/curiosity store, as well as a supplier of local and organic products like ribbon cane syrup, whole grains, honey, and eggs. I enjoyed an absolutely MASSIVE breakfast sandwich which was basically a 3-egg omelet between two slices of bread, stuffed full of veggies. The owners are charming folks. This spot is very highly recommended.
