I don’t know why this place has such crappy reviews.
I have had nothing but great experiences shopping at this location. First off, this store is super clean and organized. On top of that, they have some of the best selection that I have seen (other than the location just outsode of Chicago). They are lacking a bit in the bath towel department though.
The employees are always pleasent and seem to actually enjoy their jobs.

I’m a TJ Maxx lover from way back, and I’ve been to many of them. The Janesville store is pretty good when it comes to selection, and it’s cleaner than some. But try getting any service! Almost every time I’ve gone up front to check out, there are three or four staff members crammed into the service desk area, busy doing whatever, and I stand there and wait until one of them has time for me. (Fortunately, I’m not usually in a hurry.) Not sure why they have checkout lanes as they don’t seem to use them; the single line at the service desk is usually the only option. What are they all doing up there that’s more important than the customers?
