Sponge Spa Car Wash

Fast and convenient like another reviewer has stated. I have a Chevy Tahoe and it doesn’t get the wheels or the back end very clean. Customer service is lacking here as well. I wanted to sign up for the monthly car wash and the side door was locked, as I went to the door the attendant looked at me and went into the car wash with out acknowledging me. I asked him about the monthly service when I went into the car wash and he told me I should of went in the other side door. There are no signs saying where to go. I sent them an email telling them of my disappointment asking if I could be reimbursed for my car wash when I signed up for the monthly wash and have yet to hear back from them.

Not the best car wash in the world, but they’re convenient for me, so I go there rather often. I’ve had a couple of washes that they must’ve been low on solution or something, my car didn’t come completely clean, and I attempted to communicate my displeasure, but never got return communication. Usually though, I’m satisfied with the wash.

Went to this car wash to get my car washed. Drove to the computer box to pay and I got the 3 for 1 special on Black Friday. Machine did not spit out my receipt nor my coupons for the 2 washes upcoming.
I pulled forward and told attendant that printer was jammed or something to that effect. He stated that he would take my name and number and call me when they could find the key to unlock the printer board and get out my coupons for the upcoming 2 washes.
Owner (with British accent) calls and says «Come in and pickup coupons now, we fixed the machine.» I replied, «How about you give me a free car wash for having to make a repeat trip to your place and use my gas.» To which he replied, «You have to come back anyway.» I said to him, «I wasn’t planning on coming back today.» So in essence, no free $ 5.00 car wash for having to come back the same day when my car had been washed already that day. I repeated myself and he stood pat that I wasn’t going to get a free car wash for my troubles.
Well I guess this is the standard treatment in Great Britain but we are here in Janesville, WI in the United States. Customer service does mean something and I hope this guy realizes it soon.

AVOID THIS CAR WASH IF YOU HAVE LOW PROFILE TIRES!!! If I could give this place negative stars I would. I took my car through this car wash and realized as I was entering they have the 80s wheel rail technology. I got through and found that the plastic rails have scratched and left a mark all the way around my driver’s side rims. I went to talk to someone at the car wash and got to talk to «Chris». «Chris» told me that there is no way it was their car wash that did the mark, even though it clearly was not on the other side of the car’s rims that did not go through that wheel rail. I have to suggest that people do not go here if you have a rim larger than 16inches, which is almost every car now. Especially if you have low profile tires, I am still trying to remove the marks left on my rims at my own expense, and am filing a BBB report about my experience. «Chris» provided horrible customer service. AVOID SPONGE SPA CAR WASH IN JANESVILLE!
