Bad bar food and a bad place to drink in Wisconsin. there were too many loud and obnoxious drunks in this bar as one guy in particular kept screaming with the bartender ignoring his vocal chords. The food was bad and seemed to be yesterdays left overs and this place basically gives bars a bad name and why only the most rowdy seem to go in this city. too bad because downtown janesville seems quaint.

Best beer selection in town coupled with creative specials and menu selections keep us coming back. Staff is friendly and attentive. Love the Glass!

Oh man, this was the one place I was the most excited about trying (we just moved to janesville a month ago). I wanted to like this place, I really did. I tried to like this place, I really did. However, I ended up hating this place, I really do.
First off, we walked in and were not greeted once. We sat down and we still were not greeted or even noticed. We sat at the end of the bar. The bartenders would come down to the end of the bar, ask of the people to the right of us were doing okay and then they’d walk to the other patrons and asked the same thing. We were the ONLY two people in the bar who were not okay and needed drinks and it took them just around 8 minutes (which is a long time when you’re just sitting there) to be asked if we needed anything (obviously!)
Finally, after 10 minutes of waiting, we finally got our drinks. There was an overwhelming feeling in the air that we weren’t welcomed. So, we took the hint and left.
I won’t be returning to this bar.

Their food was standard bar food with a few outliers. Their beer-​battered fries were tasty… it’s not all that difficult to be good at fries…
The service, though, is garbage. I mean, in her defense, she was also, what looked like, bartending… more so flirting than anything, but it was clear she was behind the bar too…
…but I swear, she was talking to these two generic-​looking, Janesville bros the whole time we were trying to flag her down to get some semblance of service.
Food was OK; it wasn’t standout. The service was cold trash.
Probably won’t go back.

Visited with my boyfriend a couple weeks ago, on a Sunday afternoon. It’s an older bar, but pretty cool interior. Inside smelled like cleaning materials, I guess my nose got used to it after a while. Probably about ten customers total, about half seemed to be regulars. The bartender was extremely friendly and helpful. She was eating while working, which would usually bug me, but her attitude and attentiveness made up for it.
My boyfriend got a stuffed burger and I got a regular cheeseburger. Both were excellent. They also had a great selection of craft beers. All-​in-​all a very enjoyable time! We would definately go back!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I would go here very often with my friends for drinks after work and always enjoyed the atmosphere and staff.
Just recently I found out that a thirty year employee, who happens to be over 60, was fired for being too old after she told them she broke her arm. What kind of «family» establishment does that? I’m sure this was her only source of income and the loss of her job is going to have a huge impact. She was always smiling and super nice. It’s shameful that in this day and age ageism still exists and stupid people who practice it get away with it.
I’m never going back here again, alone or with anyone I know. I can’t support stupidity.

I have eaten here a few times. I like their chicken caeser wrap with fries. They have really, really good fries. I was not as big a fan of the cheese curds — too thick of a breading for my tastes. Came once for karaōke, and they stopped serving food (including the delicious fries) at 9, I believe. That was kind of a bummer. Karaōke was fun, though.
